A/N : This story will be a mixture of 3rd and 1st person. After this first part it will be mostly 1st, just experiment :)

"...A moment suspended in time, a dream or reality? Remember all things are possible for those who believe..."

Waiting, she did that a lot, but she had patience, not a lot, but enough. Her sister was late again,  but she wasn't that worried, it was a regular occurance. Music blasted into her ears through the beats she'd spent months saving up for, through a job she hated and was no good at doing, and how could she be anyway? Her socialising skills were rock bottom, due to years of insecurity and her confidence being bashed. She looked up as a gust of wind brushed slowly across her face, causing her dark blonde hair to cause a stir, she pulled at her grey beanie, making it a little more secure. A car eventually pulled up infront of her, a smile began to play on her lips as she swung the door open and climbed in, slamming it rapidly behind her, ditching her stuff at her feet.

'Sorry' her sister, Nicole, apologised, for the hundredth time since she'd moved here, since she'd started this job. 'Its fine' she shrugged, pulling off her beats, placing them into her bag gently and pulling her seatbelt on as they drove home. 'So how was work, Cas?' Nicole asked her, 'it was fine' Cassie shrugged, her sister not knowing about her insecurities nor her low self-esteem.

The conversation died off leading to silence, but it was a comfortable one. Nicole parked the car in their little driveway, Cassie went straight up to the front door, looking into her bag for the keys, trying to rapidly unlock the door as her hands were freezing, England was hardly the warmest country during the month of January. The door swung open to an empty but comfortable house. Cassie went straight into the living room, slowly placing her stuff on the sofa, leaning over and stroking their dog, Boo, a black and white collie, a playful character.

She turned around, facing Nicole who was just turning the television on, grabbing her laptop and sitting down on the black leather sofa. Cassie did the same, pulling out a folder full of sheets, forms she had to fill out for when she decided to go to college. She should've already started, as she was eighteen, but she wanted time off, to get a job and travel a bit, but so far she'd only managed to achieve half of that, and she wasn't happy with it either.

The day carried on like it usually did, casual talk between the two sisters, and when Nicole's boyfriend came home, Justin, between him as well. It was a Saturday night and Nicole and Justin had plans to go out, not something Cassie did regularly, she was more of the type to sit at home and write and maybe talk to a few people on facebook, sometimes playing guitar if she felt like it. Cassie was shy, quiet and only trusted people she felt wouldn't let her down, but had made plenty mistakes in her time. She wasn't the type who would start a conversation, afraid they'd find her annoying.

Sitting in her room, lights off, music blasting through her laptop speakers way louder than they should be, she was comfortable, happy. It was a typical Saturday night for her, she didn't mind though, nobody asked her out anyway, other than her sister. A friend request popped up on her facebook, thinking nothing of it, she left it, as she carried on writing some silly love story.

After a while, she decided to check who the request was from, and was shocked as she noticed it was a name she not only recognized, but he was also someone she had been a massive fan of for ages. She sat for a few minutes, staring at the name on the screen, Benjamin Paul Bruce.

It must be a fake, Cassie thought, as she clicked on the name in front of her eyes. All the status' seemed in the same writing tone as his twitter. Fucking this, fucking that. She went onto the photos, as there were a bunch of personal one's she hadn't come across on tumblr. Was it real? Was it fake?

She began to realise that this was in fact, Ben Bruce of Asking Alexandria's facebook. But why would he add her? She didn't tweet him all the time, she hadn't added him or anything. It was too confusing. She accepted the request, heart pounding through the oversized sweater.

Miss May I began to pound through the speakers and she switched it off, not feeling in a very musical mood anymore. She was just trying her best to comprehend someone she was a huge fan of had just randomly added her on facebook, and to make matters more intense, he was online. And he'd just messaged her.

Ben - hello, is this cassie from sumerian records?

Cassie's heart hit the floor.

Cassie - no, sorry, you've added the wrong person

Ben - oh fuck, i should be the one who's sorry

Cassie - its fine :)

Ben - so, im ben, as you've probably already gathered ;) nice to meet you

Cassie - yes I already knew that :P and nice to meet you too, Im cassie

Ben - as i've added you, i might as well make the most of it, tell me something about you

Its funny how when someone asks you tell you something about yourself, and even though you've lived with yourself for your whole life, its stil one of the hardest questions to answer. Cassie just stared at the chat log for a while, unsure how to answer. Eventually she did, with a simple answer, why would he want to talk to her? She was just a random girl from England, no talents, rather boring, shit job. No one worth talking to.

But the strange thing is, even though Cassie didn't find herself worth talking to, Ben did.
