Ben and Cassie headed towards the nearest Starbucks, arm in arm as they trudged in the snow. The cafe was surprisingly tranquil considering it was such a cold day, but then again everyone was probably either at work or at school. Cassie began to wonder about her job and how she'd lied to get the week off, she wasn't one to lie, she believed in karma, and she couldn't really risk her job. Normally, she wouldn't have done that, especially for a boy, but there was something about Ben that made her really want to, and it was a good thing that she did as well.

They were both sipping hot coffee at a table beside the cafe shop window, watching the snow fall and the traffic. It looked so freezing out there, and the people walking around were a good representative of that. After a while of Cassie sitting watching the passers-by, she noticed than Ben had his eyes on her. She looked at him and he couldn't help but smile slightly, she stuck her tongue out at him and he began to blush, looking down at his coffee like some embarrassed school boy.

Cassie grinned, biting her lip as she watched him, pulling out her phone and snapping a picture of his cuteness. He actually looked innocent for once and Cassie wanted picture proof that it was possible of this guy with such a reputation.

'What are you doing?' he chuckled, still a slight tint of pink against his pale cheeks.

'I needed a caller ID photo, and you looked cute' Cassie shrugged, her own cheeks beginning to burn slightly.

'Oh, you wanted cute?' he said, raising his eyebrows as he held his head in his hands, Cassie grinned, taking another photo, Ben laughed, raising an arm and ruffling her already messy, damp hair.

Cassie pouted, sticking her middle finger up at him and putting her phone down on the table, sitting back in her chair, regretting not wearing a hat. What a stupid mistake, she thought, 'you're a douche'

'Technically, we're all douches' he smirked, raising his cup and winking before taking a sip, Cassie just watched him, her mouth falling slightly open as she raised her eyebrows, she didn't expect that kind of come back.

'I love you' he whispered, after placing his cup back down.

'You better' Cassie half smiled back at him, a suspicious look in her eye, keeping her eye on his hands for any more surprise hair ruffles.

A few minutes later a group of teenage girls walked in, they were extremely loud and laughing, singing something I only recognized being Nicki Minaj, as they always played her music in the shop. One of the girls had a pair of galaxy leggings on, a grey sweater with a massive peace symbol on it along with a pair of navy blue vans. She had her light brown hair in loose braids, and she had an aztec designed satchel hooked over her arm.

'Nicki Minaj is such an inspiration' she said, just after ordering her caramel macchiato, 'her lyrics just, get to me, you know?'

'Yeah, and she has like, the most perfect figure ever' said her friend, flipping her pastel pink hair that was obviously mostly extensions.

Cassie looked at Ben with raised eyebrows, he chuckled, like he was used to it by now. She was as well, she saw these kind of mainstream people all the time where she lived, but they never seemed this dense. Cassie sipped the remains of my coffee, hearing the same girl speak yet again. She didn't have a particularly nice voice either, it was actually kind of whiny.

'I'm totally instagraming this' she said, pulling out her white iPhone and snapping a picture of all of their coffee's lined up in a row, even the guy behind the counter looked amused.
