ROXANNE

"DRACO, ROSE I REQUIRE assurances from both of you that you won't partake in the tournament," Narcissa's voice carried a blend of firmness and concern. The family, comprising Lucius, Draco, Roxanne, and Narcissa, stood on the bustling Platform 9 3/4, bound for Hogwarts. Lucius had recently shared information about an upcoming tournament involving students from various magical schools.

"Auntie, don't worry. I've got other things on my mind than a tournament," Roxanne reassured with a confident yet gentle smile. She wanted to figure out who that man was casting the Dark Mark just as Celeste wanted.

"Like what, Roxanne? Tell me," Draco questioned, his brow furrowing as he raised an inquisitive eyebrow at his cousin.

"That's hardly any of your concern, Dray."

"Regardless of what happens this year, both of you must keep an eye out for Celeste," Lucius directed their attention to a perplexing mention of Celeste.

"Celeste? What's going on?" Roxanne queried her uncle, sensing an air of discomfort from Narcissa.

"Your new Professor, dear. It's Mad-eye Moody," Narcissa revealed, her face tinged with worry. Roxanne and Draco exchanged wide-eyed glances as the weight of this unexpected revelation settled in.

"What!" The synchronized exclamation from both cousins reverberated through the platform.

"That's just horrible; they can't do that," Roxanne exclaimed, a mixture of disbelief and frustration etched on her features.

"I'm afraid it is already done. Now, focus on your studies and make a favorable impression on the guests at your school," Lucius advised, attempting to redirect their attention.

"And remember to be pleasant to Leonis when he arrives," Narcissa added, looking mainly at Draco, injecting a moment of familial warmth into the conversation.

"Fine, Mother. I'll associate with him, but don't expect me to become best friends with the lad," Draco asserted, maintaining his characteristic nonchalant demeanor.

As thoughts swirled and emotions lingered, Roxanne contemplated, "Do you reckon I should tell Lesty about Mad-eye? Or should I leave it until everyone finds out about it?"

"Give her a peaceful train ride, Rose. Now, off you two go." Narcissa embraced the two children, her concern mingling with a tinge of maternal pride. "Oh, how I will miss you both. Have fun at the Yule Ball."

"No Yule can match the ones you throw, Auntie," Roxanne remarked with a playful grin, savoring the familial warmth shared at that moment. Draco, ever the skeptic, rolled his eyes at Roxanne's knack for having the last hug. Lucius placed a steadying hand on both their shoulders, signaling it was time to board the train.
