ROXANNE

AFTER BICKERING WITH Malfoy and Nott, Roxanne and Celeste strolled towards the Three Broomsticks, seeking solace in the warmth of the cosy inn. However, their journey took an unexpected turn.

"Look who we have here—little Black and Rosier," a familiar voice, resonating with a blend of mockery and familiarity, reached them from behind. It was none other than the older fifth-year Slytherin — the infamous Ares Avery — brother to Madelyn Avery.

Ares possessed stunning short brown hair, and a face resembling a literal Greek god that attracted the admiration of many girls. He served as a beater for the Slytherin Quidditch team.

Even Roxanne couldn't deny how gorgeous he was.

"Can't say that I don't miss you as our seeker, Black. Malfoy is real shit," Adrian Pucey added, his words whispered while standing shoulder to shoulder with Avery.

It was a widely acknowledged fact that Draco's skills as a seeker... well — what seeker skills?

Adrian had luscious brown locks, served as a chaser for the Slytherin Quidditch team, and had a decent amount of admirers among the girls.

"Wish I could say that I'd miss having practice with you, Pucey — but I don't," Roxanne retorted, her tone carrying a hint of playful disdain.

"Such a snarky comment coming from you," Adrian retorted with a mock offence, placing a hand on his chest in theatrical response.

"Remember when she used to be so sweet and kind?" Ares added, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

"I wish I could remember," Adrian sighed, his words laced with mock nostalgia. Roxanne and Celeste rolled their eyes at the two boys.

Celeste couldn't keep her mouth shut and suddenly brought Quidditch up.

"But circling back to Quidditch—Rose and I were discussing Quidditch before we got here," Celeste initiated, changing the course of the discussion, knowing how good Roxanne was at Quidditch — seeker or chaser.

       "Don't start," Roxanne said.

If there is something you should know about Celeste, is the fact that she'd never give up on something — even if it would be for someone she loved, she would do her best to make them achieve their goals.
