Mya sat in Big Mama's recliner with a glass of crushed ice in her hand and began to rock. Mya was currently five months pregnant with baby girl Kennedi and the June heat has not been nice to her.

"Auntie, you sure you can't come with us to Hawaii?" Killian pouted as he rubbed Mya's belly.

"I'm sorry, baby. I can't." Mya was recently diagnosed with preeclampsia and hyperemesis gravidarum, which has caused her to have frequent appointments with her doctor. "Uncle will be there with you though."

Mya convinced Shakur to go with them even though he did not want to. October agreed to stay with Mya to keep an eye on her while he was away—that was the only reason Shakur agreed to go.

"It's not the same, auntie." Killian whined as he rested his head on her chest while still rubbing her belly.

"I know, little man. Auntie is high risk and right now, it's not safe for me to travel. You know I never missed any of your birthdays and if I could go then I would." Mya exclaimed to him as she ran her fingers through his uncut hair. Killian wanted his hair to grow out a little bit then get it tapered for his birthday, which Amaru agreed to.

Killian sighed as he carefully sat down on Mya's lap and continued to rest his head on her chest. Mya continued to rock and the both of them ended up falling asleep within a few minutes.

"Little man—" Amaru stopped when he saw the two of them sleeping. "Man, that's her baby—I swear." He said as he grabbed a blanket nearby and placed it on top of them and kissed them on their foreheads.

Everyone sat around Big Mama's table as they all ate dinner. Mya was trying to get herself to eat, however she was feeling nauseous and did not have an appetite. Everyone was feeling bad for her—especially Shakur. They both agreed that Kennedi would be their only child.

"Did you want to try some chicken broth to see if that'll help you, baby?" Big Mama asked Mya.

Mya shook her head. "I don't want anything."

"You gotta eat something, mamas. You barely ate all day." Shakur told her. "What about some watermelon? You keep that down. I just want you to eat, baby."

Mya rested her head on Shakur's shoulder before agreeing. Arman volunteered to get up and get the watermelon for her.

"Why do you feel so bad, auntie? Do you have the flu?" Killian asked as he ate his cornbread. His obsession over cornbread was crazy because he couldn't have a meal without it.

"She doesn't have the flu." Heather answered for her. "She has a condition that some pregnant women have that can cause her not to feel well."

"Will you feel that way too, mommy?" Killian asked with his head tilted to the side. Now that school is over for the summer and Heather is no longer Killian's teacher, he could finally get into the habit of calling her mommy.

"Well—I'm not pregnant and I won't know until I get pregnant." Heather replied.

"You are pregnant." Killian told her.

Everyone looked at Killian with confusion on their faces while Big Mama, Dear, and Cynthia smirked. "Why are you saying this, Kill?" Amaru asked his son.

Killian sighed. "Never mind."

"Explain it because I want to hear this." Arman said.

"There's nothing to explain, cousin. I don't know why I said it." Killian replied.

Amaru chuckled. "Man, what is going on?"

"Look at Micah." Dear told them.

Everyone looked over at Micah who was out of his chair and was bent over looking between his legs. Heather quickly stood up from the table and picked him up.
