Heather dressed Micah in his pajamas. It was almost eight o'clock and the two of them already ate dinner. Micah received his nighttime bath and was ready to go to sleep.

"Okay, stinks. Let's get you in bed." Heather said as she carried him over to his toddler bed. She pulled the covers back and laid him down before she tucked him in.

"Night, mommy." He said.

Heather smiled and kissed his forehead. "Good night, baby." She turned on his night light and turned off the ceiling light before exiting the room.

Heather quickly went to the kitchen to start cleaning up. As she began her task, Chance snuck up behind her with a bouquet of what he thought were her favorite flowers—tulips.

"Hey, baby." He said, kissing her ear. Heather ignored him as she continued to put the leftover food in separate containers. "I know you're still mad at me and I'm sorry. I bought a peace offering and maybe we can have some makeup sex."

Heather side eyed him before giving him her full attention. "What are you sorry about?"

"For everything—I guess." He shrugged.

Heather scoffed. "You're full of it."

"Full of what?"

"Shit! You're full of shit and I'm sick of it! I tell you my issue and you still manage to not give a fuck." Heather said.

Chance sighed deeply. "It's always me, huh? It's always my fault."

"Whatever, Chance. You're always trying to flip shit around. I'm fucking done."

"Yeah, be done and sleep your ass on the couch again tonight." Chance retorted as he walked out of the kitchen, throwing the flowers away in the process.

"I don't give a fuck. My favorite flowers are daisies anyway, dumb bitch." Heather mumbled.

"I know that ain't Kill walking up in here." Shakur joked as he held the door open for him and Mya.

"Sure is, Unc!" Killian exclaimed, giving his uncle dap. "Daddy said I could spend the night and just ride with Auntie Mya to school, remember?"

Shakur smirked. "How could I forget, little man? You haven't spent the night in awhile. I missed you, baby boy."

Killian smiled. "I missed you too, uncle."

"You took the chicken out, right?" Mya asked Shakur who stood there in silence. "Shakur, I know damn well—"

"Let's go to that barbecue place we went to the other week." Shakur said with a nervous smile.

"Okay, and I'm running the check up too." Mya replied. "I'm about to get myself together. I had a rough day."

"Come here, mamas." Shakur said and she did as told. He pressed a gentle kiss on her lips. "I love you."

Mya smiled at him. "I love you too, but I'm still running up the check."

"Can we see if Ms. McDaniel and her son want to come eat with us?" Killian asked. "She looked a little sad today and she shouldn't have been because it was Wild Out Wednesday. We didn't do much wilding out."

Shakur chuckled. "Yeah, I'll call her. Go ahead and get yourself washed up so we can go."

"Thank you for inviting us. I didn't feel like cooking." Heather said as she stuck a napkin in Micah's shirt, so he wouldn't get too messy from his mac & cheese.

"You know we love you and my godson." Mya said, running her hand through Micah's curls.

"It was my idea to invite you, Ms. McDaniel." Killian pouted.
