Oikawa pov

This night, I went to bed earlier than usual. I really enjoyed talking to Iwa-chan yesterday and I would definitely talk to him more. He wasn't much of a talker but I had the feeling that he always listened and that was more important to me.

When I woke up, I immediately went down to the lake. I could see Iwa-chan working on the boat. That meant only one thing, he would sail today. Not to say, I was disappointed. I wanted to spend some time with him today because I didn't really have anyone to rant to in real life. When he saw me he waved and beckoned me to him. I just went to the sailboat, not sure what to do.

"Kawa, you're early!" Iwa-chan exclaimed. "Yeah, I was actually looking forward to talking to you but I guess you have other plans so I'll just go and eat some strawberry's," I replied, already turning around. What I didn't expect was that Iwa-chan would grab my wrist and spin me around. I would lie if I'd say I didn't blush and I was sure Iwa-chan saw it.

"You are going to sail with me, come on, it'll be fun," Iwa-chan said and I couldn't help but nod. I really liked that idea although I had no clue how to sail. Iwa-chan would probably do everything on his own so I didn't need to worry.

In the next moment, he pulled me onto the boat. He told me to sit in the front while he sat in the bag. He also gave me a paddle and told me to paddle us to the buoy. I wanted to complain but if I didn't paddle, he would probably not allow me to sail with him and I really wanted to try it out.

While I was paddling, Iwa-chan was steering the boat. When we reached the buoy, he went to the front and did a know which looked pretty similar to the one that people use to kill themselves. "Bowline hitch," Iwa-chan said when he saw my questioning look. That was probably the name of that knot.

"Could you please bring up the centreboard," Iwa-chan asked. "What?" I just replied. I had no idea what he was talking about. "Could you just pull that orange string so the metal thing here, called centreboard comes up and I can set the sails and we can sail," he explained. I did what he told me and after I pulled the centreboard up, I clicked the string into the cleat it was in before.

"Do you want to sail with the jib, the mainsail or both?" Iwa-chan asked. "The thing where I have to do the least," I replied. I had no idea how to sail nor have I ever been on a sailboat before so I wasn't capable of this. "Kay," Iwa-chan responded before loosening a rope from what I assumed was the mainsail. He then went to the front of the boat where I was sitting and took another rope which he gave to me. "Pull it but not too fast, I'll make sure that those clips don't loosen up," Iwa-chan said before he went to the mast. I just did what he told me to and after some minutes, the mainsail was up.

"Now go to the bow and loosen the knot when I tell you to, okay?" Iwa-chan said. He himself was doing something with the centreboard and the string wheel. "Now," he commanded and I took a good minute to finally loosen that knot. It was really complicated but also useful. After that, I pulled the string onto the boat and sat down in the front. I just enjoyed the wind on my face as we got faster. Sailing was really cool although Iwa-chan was way faster last time. It probably had something to do with us only having one sail up.

"Okay so when I say ready to go about, you'll look to the side where the sail isn't and look out for boats. If there isn't one near us, you'll say ready. I'll reply with going about and then I'll shift the sail. While I do that, keep your head down, I don't want you to hit your head. And after we're finished, please change sides, we need to keep balance," Iwa-chan stated. "Got it," I responded. I hoped that I wouldn't make any mistakes, I didn't want to hit my head or even capsize.

The lake was really big so we didn't need to go about that often and I was happy we didn't. The sail was currently on the left side, the side I was sitting on when Iwa-chan shouted, "Ready to go about". I quickly looked at the right side but there was, as expected, nothing. We were alone here after all. "Ready," I replied before I laid my head on my lap. "Going about," Iwa-chan stated and the boat rotated. When it finished turning, I changed sides and continued to look around. The sail was on my side again.

Iwa-chan and I sailed in silence until I woke up due to my alarm ringing. I've never had a dream like that but I really enjoyed it.
