"Thanks for coming everyone," I started to say at the front of the podium. Everyone stared right at me. This is what I get for pretending to look depressed on day one of human school. "On behalf of Ms. Walkers' family, I understand how short of a notice this was to join us, and we thank you for those who drove maybe a couple of states away from Rhode Island. Like, New York, Massachusetts, Vermont..." Someone coughed and like I predicted, I heard one of my classmates say something about how much of a fault I was for killing Celeste. I was gripping the edges of the podium and trying not to break it. "My name is Odette Hillshire. I was...a friend of our very own bubbly, and sporty girl. We were doing a project of Mercy Brown, who's one of our town's famous historian - or should I say only vampire."

I continued with my speech as everyone just kept watching me. I was coming up with this speech on my own as I didn't have the whole night to write any of this. I was not very good with talking in front of audiences, but I knew Damien was in the crowd somewhere and supporting me from there.

"She was very optimistic that she wanted to do this history project with me, and I know she wouldn't want anyone to fault me for what had happened to her. She was a very sweet and funny girl, and she stood up for me, even though I barely knew her."

"Yeah, right!" a classmate said from the crowd, and I was taken aback. "It was your fault that she died. How could you say it was an animal that killed her? For all we know, you could've been the one that distracted her!"

"No," I started to say, as an uproar occurred. "That's not even true. I protected her!"

"If you protected her, then how come she's not here today?!"

"But I-" I said, and everyone else agreed, starting a commotion.

"How could you be the one to give a speech when you're the one that killed Celeste?!"

My eyes started to glow out of anger and I found myself not able to control it. I wanted to attack my classmate, but I knew that wasn't the answer. I can't, and even if I wanted to, there were policemen out there ready to take me in for questioning and would be willing to put me in jail for it. I started to calm down after a moment or two, and my green eyes stopped glowing. I was so sure someone had seen it, but before I knew it started glowing, I pretended to have a headache and looked away from the crowd.

"She's having a headache, someone get her off the stage and take over." they said again, and my eyes started glowing some more. Damien came up to the stage and put his hand on my shoulder to comfort me.

"Odette..." he said softly, and I looked at him. He saw my eyes, and he was looking back at me in alarm. "Control yourself. Don't give in to your hunger here. Cool it. I'll take over from here, okay?"

I nodded, and I hurried out of the church and Damien continued the speech for me. As I left, I heard some girls giggling the word, "freak", in the back, which made me shoot a glare at them to shut them up. I don't know how I did it, it just happened and they just stopped talking about me.

Once I left, I went around the church for some privacy. The policemen at the front gates saw me, and ignored me afterwards. "Having fun?" I looked up from my dress and saw Sophie. "Nearly blew the big ol' speech there."

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"So I can confuse the people and have some fun around here to be you." She said, shifting her appearance to wear the same dress and shoes I was wearing. Finally, her amulet appeared too, and I had my hand over my own one for protection. "I bet you, they won't even know what changed." Sophie giggled and she went behind me so quick that I didn't have time to process it. I heard some chains and felt my wrists being held behind my back. "Found these chains in town while I was doing my hunting...the last person I used it on, you should've seen the look on their face when I ripped them apart with it." She chained me to the church and I was trying to wiggle to break free. "Let the games begin."

"No!" I said, as she started to rush inside the church.

(Sophie's POV)-

All I could think of was killing the first person I saw inside the church. I was about to have fun and cause more chaos, and so I did just that. I shoved my hand in through the nearest person's chest and forced out their own heart. Blood splattered against the benches and someone next to them screamed. Everyone else started screaming out of fear. "It's Odette!" someone yelled. "Odette just killed someone! I knew she was a freak!"

I continued killing a couple more people beside me, and someone even asked where the policemen was, but little did they know was that I killed them before anything else. These humans were all so stupid and simpleminded.

I grinned to myself, and showed them the glowing green eyes. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed every bit of this whole fiasco. Everyone backed away from me so quickly that even the dork, Damien stared at me in fear. He gave me a look that said, "What the heck are you doing?"

I ignored him. He wasn't any of my concern. Not yet anyways...

I wanted to save him for last. Odette would be crushed to find out that her soulmate's been dead by her own hands.

It was all just a part of my own game just to put the blame on her because she wouldn't just admit to herself. This made me grow stronger, and I didn't even need the blood since I'm just her twin.

Everything her world once was, is all going to burn, and she wouldn't have the guts to do anything about it.
