"Who's Bucky?" Emma asks and continued to eat her food.

"My best friend." Steve says and smiles at Emma.

"He's been through some stuff and had to stay in Wakanda for a while. They say he's much better now and should be good to return home soon." Nat says.

"Sorry, who are the wakandans?" Emma asks, not really knowing what they're saying.

"They're a very intelligent country in Africa. They cured Bucky's brainwashed hydra controlled brain and cleared him." Tony continued to explain.

"Cleared him of what?"

"The Winter Soldier." Steve says and puts his head down. "They forced him to do bad things, but he's back now. Bucky's finally back."

"You must've really missed him." Emma says and smiles at Steve. "I'm glad you're getting him back."

"I missed him more than anything." Steve says and smiles back at Emma. "So next week?"

"Yup. They have one more test and if he passes, he's free." Tony says.

Steve smiles and nods. He's so happy he's speechless. Emma was happy that Steve was happy. It's going to be fun having another person in the compound.

After breakfast, Emma goes to her room to unpack some more, since last night didn't go as planned. She finished putting her clothes away and started hanging up photos on her wall.

"Is that your parents?" Steve asks from the doorway, causing Emma to flinch. "I didn't mean to scare you. I'm sorry."

"No, it's fine." She responds and looks at the photo. "Yeah. This is them the Christmas before they died."

Emma walks over to Steve and hands him the frame. He takes a look at it and smiles. She watches him look at it and hopes he doesn't ask about them.

"You look just like your mom." Steve says and looks at Emma.

"I get that a lot." Emma says and takes the photo. "Do you wanna help me hang these?"

Steve nods and walks into the room. Since he's taller, he puts all the frames up for her. There were a few photos of her and her parents, but she also had photos of her and Tony and some of her friends from school.

"Do you still see your friends?" Steve asks as he hangs up the photo.

"Not really. We all went to different schools." Emma says and looks at the photo. "After my parents died, I kind of stopped talking to a lot of people."

"I'm sorry." Steve says and finishes hanging the photo.

"It's alright. I did it to myself. If I needed them I'm sure they'd still be there for me, that's why I keep that photo." Emma says and smiles.

When Steve finishes, he sits next to Emma on the edge of her bed. She looks at her now photo filled wall and smiled. Those were her favorite photos, so she's glad that look so good up on the wall.

"I think it looks great." Steve says and Emma smiles at him.

"Yeah I think so too."

Steve sits on the bed and watches Emma unpack a few more things. She asks him questions about his life, and he asks her too.

"That's so cool that you grew up in the 30s. I bet the world is an entirely different place." Emma says.

"Yeah. It was weird, but I got used to it."

"What's your favorite part about the new world?" Emma asks.

"Probably the internet." Steve says.

Emma laughs and sits next to him. Steve smiles at her and puts his hand on her face. He kissed her softly, and rubbed her face with his hand.
