It's been four days since Emma got home and Bucky is still ignoring her. Steve can tell how upset she is, because if she walks into the room and Bucky is there, she just walks back out.

Emma is sitting with Wanda and Vision, watching them make breakfast and talking to them. She's enjoying her time and then Steve walked in.

"Good morning everyone." Steve says and kisses Emma on the cheek.

They all sit there and talk to each other, enjoying the company. Then, Bucky walks in and the whole mood changes. Emma looks away and Steve just stares at him.

"Good morning Mr. Barnes." Vision says and Bucky gives him a half smile. He must be really hungry, because normally he waits until everyone leaves to have his breakfast.

Bucky sits at the table next to Emma and she tries not to look at him. She glances over at Steve who is still just watching Bucky. He's mad at the way Bucky's treated Emma.

"Are you not going to say anything?" Steve asks. "To either of us?"

Bucky looks up to Steve.

"What do you want me to say?" Bucky says.

This makes Emma mad and she slams her hands on the table and stands up. She walks away and keeps a hand on her head, because it's pounding.

Bucky gets up and goes to his room and Steve follows him. Steve wants to know what the problem is.

"What was that?" Steve asked Bucky while standing in his doorway.

"What?" Bucky asks and doesn't look at Steve.

"With Emma. She's been nothing but nice to you and you're being an ass."

"What do you want from me?"

"I want you to like her." Steve says and steps closer. "But if that's too difficult for you maybe you could at least pretend."

"I am pretending." Bucky responds and finally looks at Steve.

"Well do better." Steve says and turns around.

"Alright." Bucky says and stands up. "Why don't I just go to her room and tell her how much I like her."

Steve turns around and looks at Bucky with shock behind his eyes.

"I think that'll be good. I could tell her how much I think about her." Bucky continues and steps towards Steve. "Or that I haven't stopped thinking about her since the moment we met."

Steve is silent. He can't help but just stare and watch as Bucky continues to speak.

"I could tell her that I want to slit my own throat I'm so in love with her that for every minute, of every hour, of every day, I can't believe my own damn bad luck that you met her first!" Bucky finishes and is now in Steve's face shouting.

Just as Bucky finished, Emma walked in and was staring at the two of them. Bucky looked at her and Steve turned around. Emma's eyes were wide and tears were in them.

Before either of them could say anything, Emma walked away. She was still limping but walked as fast as she could to her room and locked the door.

Steve turned and looked at Bucky again. They both were in shock with what Bucky had said, even Bucky was in shock.

"I'll talk to her." Steve says and turns to the door. "I think it's best if you keep your distance."

Bucky just stares as Steve walks away, shutting the door behind him. He sat on his bed and a few tears rolled down his cheeks. Bucky was mad at himself for admitting how he felt to Steve, and now to Emma too.
