Location: Temple
Veer emotionally faces Bani, dressed as a bride, as they both eye each other romantically. Just then, her mother comes and the rest of the family. Leela rushes to hug her daughter, while Bani fights back tears. While hugging Leela vehemently apologises, for the situation that Bani is in.
Leela- "Bani, if u r okay. I m responsible for all this. I knew Jay and Anita could stoop down to any level. But I couldn't save my daughter from becoming the ridicule of the town. Please forgive me."
Bani cries.
Veer- "Maa, u shouldn't blame urself, as they are like that. If they hadn't done it, they would have done something else. But they would have spoiled the relation."
Babbe- "Now what we will do as they have planned this thoroughly. They have crossed all limits of shamelessness now."
Usha- "Anita want Jay and Bani's ring ceremony to happen."
Leela gets furious.
Leela- "We will go to the court to prove that the marriage is a fake."
Bani- "It won't do any good, since Jay tricked me into marrying. Now I will teach him a lesson in his own language."
Leela- "Bani, don't do this as it's no use, since Jay won't understand it."
Bani- "I love Veer and will always be his wife and Babbe's daughter in law. But I need to pretend to happily be Jay's wife."
Veer holds Bani's hand.
Veer- "I have full faith on Bani and our love. and I will fully support Bani in her plan to outsmart Jay. Now I beg all of u to be with her on this."
They finally comply. And all pledge vengeance and protection of their family from the attack of Jay and his mother.
Veer- "We shall go through all the rituals of the marriage, and show Jay what it means to be tricking Bani into marrying him."
Location: Jay's residence
Bani eyes Veer's wedding pic with her, and gets nostalgic as she dons the vermillion on her forehead, in his name. Jay comes in just then, and demanding his rights as a husband.
Jay- "Bani, change ur perfume since I doesn't like it much."
Bani fumes but suppresses her anger. And tries to convince him.
Bani- "Jay, what happened to me was so sudden and shocking. I need to recuperate. I agree to coming down to today's function, as ur wife, but u should give me space. I need sometime so that I will adjust to this new turn my life has taken."
Jay- "Bani, u can have and take all the time that u need. But u need to ensure that, u doesn't try any smartness or shrewdness as then I wouldn't tolerate it."
She silently complies.
Bani- "Now u leave while I get ready."
He complies.
Later at the evening party, Bani finally descends down, dressed up for the function. Jay smirks, and extends his hand for her. But she pretends that her sandal got untied. He bends down and gets it right, and then gives her his hand yet again. But she pretends to be oblivious of it, and walks away. He is tensed but nevertheless complies and walks after her, as they take their place on the stage. Meanwhile, Leela and Babbe too arrive at the funtcion and tensedly take their place. But Anita, with the intention of humiliating them, purposely attends to more of her guests, and gets them to the place where they are sitting, and makes them move from there.
Anita- "This is reserved for my special guests."
They are mortified, but comply neverthelless. Anita smirks with satisfaction. As the evening proceeds,
Anita- "Leela, plz get the cake."
Leela is in rage, but doesn't say anything. She silently complies. Bani gets an idea. She intentionally, but making it look like an accident, trips Anita. And Anita falls right on the cake, while trying to maintain her balance. The guests are amused, while Bani and her family enjoy the fun. Anita's face gets smeared totally with cake, while all are amused. Jay watches the entire drama tensedly, while Bani eyes her satisfied. He is about to rush down to his mother, but Bani stops him.
Bani- "Jay wait, as I will help her mother in law, being an ideal bahu."
She comes to her.
Bani- "I will clear it."
While all are amused, in the garb of cleaning it, she smears cake on her face all the more. Bani and her family is thoroughly amused.
Anita(frustratedly)- "Begin the ceremony."
Anita herself gets tissue papers to clean her face. Bani takes her place beside Jay on the stage. He is tensed and looks on the side table, to see that there is just one ring box and is shocked.
Jay- "Mom, where the ring box is?"
Anita- "It was right there."
Bani is calm and cool as she points the ring, stuck at the ceiling of the chandelier. Jay and Anita are surprised to see it there.
Bani(thinks)- "Now u both will understand what it means to marry Bani Veeranshu Singhania."
