Mayor Summerford, based on a real story
On February 1918, a Britain officer (Mayor Summerford) was suddenly thrown off of his horse by a lightning while he was combating on Flanders' countryside.
After that, he was paralyzed from his waist to his feet.
Summerford retired and moved to Vancouver.
On 1924, while he was fishing on a river, a lightning hit the tree he was sitting on and his right side of the body was also paralyzed.
Two years later, Summerford was sufficiently recovered to take a walk around a locar park. He did that for years.
On 1930, he was struck by a lightning which paralyzed him permanently. He died two years later.
That was not an ending.
Four years later, during a storm, a lighthing struck over a cementery and it destroyed a tombstone.
Who was resting on that tombstone?
Mayor Summerford.
