Story 26

A man and a parrot (fiction :D)

A terribly jealous dude was married to a beautiful, smart and nice girl. He didn't want to travel because he didn't want other dudes to come near his wife, but this time was forced to travel.

After the trip, he brought a parrot. The shopkeeper told him the parrot talked about anything that happened in front of its eyes perfectly.

He took the parrot to his home and he asked his wife to keep the parrot in their room during his trip.

When the trip ended, the man came back and asked the parrot about. The parrot said things that made him turn mad at his wife.

The woman thought one of her servants had told her husband, so she asked them one for one, but they all said they were loyal and only the parrot could have talked about that.

Next night, the man had to go to a meeting and the woman decided to get her revenge from the parrot. She covered the parrot's jail with a blanket and then she took some servants to make noise:

-one should drop water on the blanket.

-the other should move a mirror in front of the jail.

-the last one should take a flashlight and iluminate the jail, turning around the parrot's jail.

Next morning, the man asked the parrot about its night.

"Sorry, sir." the parrot said. "Last night I couldn't hear nor see because there was a terrible storm, lighthings, thunders and rain until this morning."

The man got angry because he knew any storm had stoke last night, because he thought the parrot was hiding his wife's dirty things.

"You're lying!" he said. He took the parrot and he crashed its head against the floor. After he killed it, a neightbour told the man what had really happened.

He knew then how his wife had cheated on him, had distracted the parrot and everything. He got repented, but his sorry couldn't bring the parrot back to life.
