Comedy of the Accident Boy

Fort Wayne (Indiana); January 28th, 1962

James W. Schinbeckler called the police officials Robert Paulsen and Guy Fortier to the streets Broadway and Taylor.

Schinbeckler said he was going to Broadway, turning around Street Taylor, when a child got in his way.

The driver added he had run over the kid, who was laying on the road, but the boy got up without saying a word and started walking.

A second later, the child disappeared.

Schinbeckler made sure the child didn't come back even when he called the boy so he could be checked by doctors.

The strangest thing about this were the witnesses, who were standing in a shop next to the accident's place.

The witnesses told the police the same child had been already ran over by two cars, in the same crossroads, during the three days before.

But they also said the boy got up and started running after every accident.

Nobody knew the boy nor where he disappeared.
