Y/N POV
"You're lucky that you're an exception because if not, I would do something about this bratty behavior of yours."
You felt shivers recalling on what he said making you think what was the cause of his behavior. This was an attitude that Techno will most unlikely express. He was usually a nervous awkward guy and only be a arrogant and cocky English major when he's in battle or already won. But there he was, saying that confidently right in front of your face.
You were sitting on your bed looking at the ground, beside you was the book Athena told you about. You weren't sure whether you should open and read it right away or wait for a moment. You were scared what lies inside this book. You don't know what to expect. It could be either something that can tear you apart or something helpful with the situation.
You turn to your side and looked down at the book. Well, here goes nothing. You grab the book examining the cover. It was a black-obsidian colored book with a feather a broken pearl in the middle. And what I mean by broken is shattered. parts of the eye were cracked and part of it was off place. You then unlock the lock that was keeping the book shut all these years. You were getting nervous. Shit, what if something happens when I open this book? what if I turn out like papa? You felt your heart beat getting faster by the second. You touch the cover and slowly open the boo-
"LET ME GO! YOU SON OF A PIG BITCH!" What in the world? You put the book back inside your inventory and rush outside. You felt the cold under you feet and the wind through your hair that wasn't tied up since last night.
You then facepalm when you saw Techno....dragging Amber by the collar of her dress. I tol him to check on her, not... drag her into the snow.
"T-techno. What are you doing to Amber?" Amber's eyes perk up when she heard you. She began to put a regretful and relieved expression.
"Y/n! thank the Gods! I'm so sorry for what I have done to you all these years. I promise that I'll respect and be nice to you from now on, just please stop this-this pig thing!" She begged looking at Techno with disgust.
"Uh-what the fuck? Techno didn't I tell you to just check on her? not drag her outside!" he looks at you and back at Amber who glared at him.
"Oops. Thought you said to take the trash out, my bad. Anyways let's put you back in your cel-"
"Who you calling trash, you pig! Your worst than Y/n!" You than narrow your eyes at her. You can see her tremble when I crossed my arms. Looks like she's scared that I might do something to her.
"I'll let you off the hook this time, Amber, but insult me again and I won't hesitate to snap every bone you have in your body." You said glaring at her coldly and crossed your arms then changed your expression to a cheerful smile and said "Do I make myself clear?"
"Y-yes." She muttered. You can see Techno holding it together. He was trying so hard not laugh but ended up quietly snickering. You then walk towards Amber and helped her up which she accepted not looking into your eyes.
"You don't need to go back in the cell, Amber, You can roam around these quarters but you must be in my sight. You can't escape anyway so it won't be a problem because..." You looked at Techno giving him an evil smirk than back at Amber who was trembling slightly.
"...You are under my control."
"When did you become so scary?" Techno buts in.
"I'm not scary! I'm just making sure that she knows her place and this is payback for all those years of torture and bullying." You said the last part sweetly. Amber just rolls her eyes.
"Techno, can you do me a favor?" You asked looking at him with puppy eyes. You can see his face turn slightly red.
"W-what is it"
"Can you watch Amber for me~?" You said patting your eye lashes.
"Hey! I'm not some child to be babysat!" Amber protests.
"Um-I guess-"
"Great! I need to do some unfished business! Try not kill her will ya?" You reminded. Hopefully she's still alive later.
