Y/N POV
What was he doing there anyway? He keeps apologizing but did he really mean it? He says he does but in the end I'm always the one who gets hurt, who gets casted aside. This is the story of MY life, and yet he steals the show. It was always about someone else, it was never about me. I was practically dragging Amber to the river, pulling her arm.
"Y/n slow down! He apologized and you forgave him, its okay now. Why are you still angry?" You stop and look at her. You walk forward "It was always about that child Amber, I always had the heart to forgive him every fucking time! And yet I was the one who's always casted away, left behind and forgotten. But that is soon going to change, once I restore our world." You said continuing to walk again or stomped away, I suppose.
With a sigh she follows you. Soon you saw purple particles and an obsidian portal with Dream leaning on it. He perks up when he sees you.
"Oh Finally! You guys were taking ages. Where are the materials?" He asked walking forward to face you. You look at the portal behind him. It has been a long time since you saw one of these. You took the supplies out of your inventory. All of it was made of netherite except for the food. You hand them to Dream. Dream notices your odd behavior. He puts the things down and held your chin making you look at him. You didn't bother showing emotion.
"What's wrong love?" He asked, voice was soft and comforting. You looked down. He looks at Amber with a glare. Amber raises her arms, signaling she didn't do anything.
"Its... nothing important. Just worried what waits for us in the fortress." You smiled uneasily. He engulfs you with a hug. You always felt safe when you were with him.
"No need to worry. If something happens, let's blame it on Amber." You laughed and Amber hits him as she curses at him.
"Okay, okay... Amber chill." You said trying to hold off Amber. She shoo's me away "Whatever, lets just go in already." She said wearing the armor and getting the weapons.
"Have you gotten the hang on your charm?" You asked putting the armor in your inventory.
"Of course! I'm already a professional" She said flicking her hair. You roll your eyes.
"Y/n, where your armor." Dream commanded.
"I'll use it later when we actually need it."
"Whatever, just be careful." You hold onto the netherite axe with enchantments you don't know "Always, Love"
You all enter the portal. You felt a little dizzy making you a little sick as well as Dream but it looks like Amber is already used to this. You all step forward and was scorching air and blazing heat. You felt your eyes glow making your vision blurry. I forgot about this.
"Do you guys know that your eyes are glowing like crazy right?" You looked at him only to see blobs of colors.
"Yes we are aware. Here Y/n wear this." You felt Amber hand you a gem or a necklace?-wait this is a sapphire necklace! This is pog! You wear the necklace and your vision started to get clearer but your eyes are still glowing. You look at Amber. You nearly yelp at her appearance. She looked like a vampire.
"You look like a vampire! That's so cool" You exclaim. She chuckles "You're telling me? Someone could assume that you're an enderman with that purple glow your emitting!" You laugh.
"You both are so weird." You both stop and glare at him. It was like the anger you felt earlier disappeared-incompletely. He makes a peace sign and laughs nervously.
You summon the map. You were all in a crimson forest. You look at the map as they tried to see it. "There!" Amber pointed. She was pointing to where you were, the crimson forest. It looked to be the largest one in the nether.
"So we need to get out of this forest to officially start the quest? Its not part of the map. It's literally outside the barrier in the crystal." Dream asked. He's right. Its outside the barrier in the map, so we have to get out of here before we can start the quest.
"You're right. We have to escape this forest before we can start the real journey..." You said "We can just fly over the whole forest using my-" You look for the floating crystal in your inventory "my-" Fuck-I left it with Philza "And I left it with Philza" You sighed.
"Looks like we'll have to go through it then" Dream said "No worries! I've practically spent my whole life in the nether so this will be a piece of cake."
Seconds later, they ended up being chased by Hoglins.
