Sage
Pound. Pound. Pound. Pound. Pound. Pound. Pound. Pound.
The pounding feeling in my head is the first thing I feel besides for someone harshly shaking my body trying to wake me up.
"Leave me alone" I groan into the pillow. But as I burry my face into it, that's when the familiar smell floods my nose.
I jerk my head up from the pillow to see if I'm just imagining the smell, and immediately regret the action. A vigorous pain shoots from my head, clearly from a hangover. It takes a few seconds for my weak, tired eyes to adjust to the burning sunlight.
"Come on, come on, come on!" Haven's voice appears way too loud for the morning, "We're going to be late! Get your ass out of bed"
When the layer of film over my eyes disappear, I take in my surroundings, and realize I am not in-fact imagining my surroundings. Panic starts rushing through my mind as I'm unable to remember the events of last night. I quickly look underneath the bed covers and feel my eyes widen at the sight of my body in Leo's clothes.
What the fuck happened last night.
"Haven" I say with a shaky voice, "What happened last night"
"I don't know. I left for work and then just as I was leaving, Miles called me and told me that you were going to stay over at Leo's. I don't really know all the details"
"Well what are you doing here?" I ask her now reaching over to the glass of water and pills sitting on the bed-rest.
"What the hell do you mean what am I doing here? It's almost time to leave! Come on, the boys are packing the car right now, and everyone else should be arriving in a few minutes. So get your ass out of bed, freshen up a little bit, and let's get this party started!" She says with an over-excited voice.
"Oh shit... I forgot" I say jumping out of bed and slightly wince at the fast movement. When I regain my conscious, I immediately head to the bathroom and turn on the sink faucet. From Hav's information, I don't think there is time to shower, so I turn on the sink faucet and make sure cold water is running out of it.
I splash the ice water onto my face at an attempt to wake me up. When I look for the face-wash, I also come across the sight of my shampoo and conditioner still sitting in the shower. It makes me stop my actions for a second. I thought he would have thrown those out by now, but I guess not.
When I recollect my thoughts, I get back to washing my face and finishing whatever other things needed to get done. When I go back into the room, I see a flowy skirt with a tank top laid out on the bed, and I smile knowing Haven put those there for me.
God bless her.
I strip out of the comfort of Leo's clothes, and it isn't until I've changed into Haven's that I notice how much I missed my body swimming in his clothes, and the scent that would linger on my body once I took it off.
I neatly fold the Leo's clothes and pile them on the bed. I already have a feeling the car ride is going to be awkward. I can't remember anything about last night and not to mention the normal awkwardness of us being in the same confined space for 6-7 hours.
When I find my phone lying on the floor, I take one last look at myself in the mirror. The outfit Haven gave me is really nice. I love the way it fits on me, and the clothing itself is just nice. Thank god I have someone with good taste.
My eyes are noticeably tired, and despite my efforts to tame my hair, it still looks messy. I sigh at my appearance, and then walk out of the room.
