Leo

Shit. I really shouldn't have fucking fingered her today. How stupid could I be?

I'm supposed to be staying away from her, not reaching out at her every single chance I get. Now she's going to think that I want her back, which god I do, but I won't take her back.

I'm so lost in my thoughts; I don't realize how fast I'm driving the car until I see red and blue flashing lights behind me.

Fucking great.

I squint my eyes in the rear-view mirror trying to see if I could outrun them, but the blinding lights are too close. I sigh and then pull over on the side of the road, with my head against the seat's head-rest.

The knock on my window makes me turn my head to see which lucky officer has pulled me over, and I almost laugh at who it is. I fucking love this town.

"Well hello Officer Brookes" I say with my award-winning smile that gets just about every living girls' panties wet.

"Leo Aries" She says back, "Should've known it was you. Nobody normal around here drives as crazy as you. You do realize you were driving at 60mph on this neighborhood roa-"

"Oh come on, you're not actually going to give me a ticket now are you?" I ask cutting her off

She huffs and rolls her eyes at my tactics. I know she's falling for it, and so does she which is why she's mad.

"Come on... let me go for old times sake"

She looks in both directions almost as if someone is watching us.

"Don't do it again" She says and pauses for a few seconds before asking, "Do you- are you- um are you in town for long?"

"For about a week" I reply nonchalantly

"Oh okay" She says with a shaky voice, "Well-maybe we can see each other again this week?"

I saw this one coming.

"I don't think so, but thanks for getting me out of the ticket and thanks for the offer" I say while acting like the biggest fucking douche-bag alive.

But I just didn't want to see her. And I didn't care if I was mean about it. I was never a nice person anyways. Why start now?

"Okay" She says shyly and then taps the window and leaves. I don't stay and watch her retreating figure in the re-view mirror. As soon as she left the window, I left.

When I reach the house, everyone is in the kitchen, clearly waiting for the food. Normally I would have to drag the boys out there to help unload the car of the groceries, but I guess they're hungry today because nobody hesitated to help.

"Leo" Felix says, "Can you make that really good mac and cheese thing that you make?"

"You can make it too you know" I shoot back

"Yea, but I don't want to do the work. Anyways, it tastes better when you make it" He says while batting his eye-lashes like a girl

I don't even know how to respond to him sometimes, so I just flip him off and start pulling out the ingredients. Every year we come here at least for a week, and even though I make jokes about other people cooking, they can't.

The kitchen was my grandma's favorite place in the house. She loved it. So it's kind of an unspoken rule that nobody is allowed to use this kitchen accept for me. Too many memories and shit for one of these fuckers to mess up by accidently burning it down.
