Prologue

"Yveria Karsen. We meet again." Nangingiti kong bati dito ng makapasok ito sa aking opisina. It's been years pero wala parin nagbabago sa batang ito. Malamig lang ako nitong tiningnan at tuloy tuloy na naglakad palapit sa akin. Sigh.

"I'll quit." Maikling sabi lang nito pagkatapos ay nilapag ang resignation paper sa aking harapan. I knew this would happen.

 Tiningnan ko lang ito na parang nagtatanong kung bakit biglaan but she just stare at me blankly. I can see nothing in her eyes.It's like if I come closer I'll drown in emptiness and die. For some reason I feel sad for this child. 

"Okay. I'll process the documents today. Rest assured that you'll get your separation pay." Tumango lang ito at umalis na.

She's my former colleague's daughter. Yveria's parents where both skilled and talented in almost every field. Meria Karsen,her mother, was a genius scientist who invented a very powerful weapon for our organization. While Ran Karsen, her father was an amazing assassin who can kill even he's unarmed.

I still remember the first time I saw Karsen Family. They were introduced to us by my grandfather who was saved by those two. Meria was holding Yve who was still a one year old child back then. At first, my father who was a president of the organization that time was hesitant dahil hindi namin kilala ang mga ito at basta basta na lang ipapasok. But, my grandfather insist dahil naniniwala itong may potential ang mag-asawa kahit mukhang nasa 20's palang ang dalawa at may anak pa na alagaan.

At last, my father still accepted Karsens even if pangalan lang nila ang alam namin. Father tried a background check but he failed. He can't find any information about the Karsens except their names. It seems suspicious dahil parang out of nowhere they show without anything. Father just set his suspicion aside basta raw walang masamang idulot ito sa aming organization. Kung spy daw ito ay sya mismo ang papatay sa mag-anak na ito.

Not long after we were lucky to realize na hindi namin sila naging kalaban dahil kung hindi the organization that my ancestors built will be wiped out in just a snap. Haha that's ridiculous but it's true those two are monsters inside human body.

But 10 years ago something unbelievably happened. Ran Karsen was killed by an unknown man and not long after Meria vanished out of nowhere. Kasabay ng pagkawala ng dalawa, Yveria who was a five year old child lose her emotions and feelings as well. Pagkatapos ng pangyayaring iyon ay naging ilag na sa mga tao ito. She was still under our care but day by day mas nagiging katakot takot ang kinikilos nito. Madalang na lang itong magsalita at tanging misyon ng pagpatay na lang ang bumubuhay sa kislap ng mga mata nito.
