The Lili Hummel Diaries

May 6th, 2021

I tried to open my eyes, I saw kurt sitting in a chair next to a bed, of course, I was in the hospital. I looked over at Kurt,

"Hey." My voice was rough and scratchy, Kurt hugged me,

"Are you alright?" I nodded,

"I'm fine. Oh and mom said hi." Kurt looked at me,

"Wait did you?" I nodded,

"I think, I don't know. I'll explain it more when I get home."

-time jump a couple of days-

I sitting on my bed, Kurt was sitting across from me,

"Wait so you pretty much met mom, and saw our futures?" I nodded and ate one of my crackers,

"Pretty much. Except it was just my future you were just heavily featured in it." Kurt hugged me,

"That's awesome. How's mom?" I handed Kurt a cracker,

"She's doing okay. Kurt, do you know how mom died?" Kurt nodded very slowly and looked like he was about to cry,

"I wish I could forget that day. Let me guess, she told you?" I nodded,

"Yeah, she said that you still have scars on legs and chest." Kurt nodded, Burt walked downstairs,

"Hate to interrupt twin time, but Quinn's here." I nodded,

"She can come down." Burt nodded and went back upstairs. After a few minutes, Quinn came downstairs. I moved further to the wall next to my bed giving Quinn space to sit down. Quinn sat down on my bed, kissing my cheek.

"How are you?" I laughed,

"I'm doing better." Quinn then noticed I was eating,

"Hey, your eating, good job." I smiled and hugged Quinn,

"Thanks." Quinn kissed me, and Kurt stood up,

"I'll leave you two alone." Quinn smiled,

"Thanks, Kurt. Oh, and I left you something on your desk." Kurt nodded and went back to his side of the basement. I grabbed Quinn's hand, and looked her in the eyes, 

"I missed you." Quinn hugged me and grabbed something out of her coat. I noticed it was a ring box, "Wait, are you proposing?" Quinn shook her head and laughed,

"God, no. Maybe someday but not today, it's a promise ring of sorts." I smiled, and wrapped my arms around Quinn,

"I love you." Quinn smiled, and opened the ring box,

"It's beautiful Q." Quinn took the ring out of the box and slipped it onto my finger.

-time jump to the next day-

"I love you." Quinn nodded,

"I love you too. Now I need to grab my stuff and you need to eat something before we leave." I nodded, sat down, pulled my hair back into a messy bun, and then tucked the bun into one of my black beenies.

"You look nice today." I nodded,

"Thanks, you do too."

-time jump a couple of hours-

I was in Quinn's car, waiting for her to come out. She was inside being lectured by Finn about being safe with me. We found it hysterical when Finn saw the number of hickeys visible on Q and me. Quinn walked out, and climbed into her car,

"Okay, now to go meet my mom." We drove for what seemed like forever, and then we pulled into a large driveway that was in front of an even larger house. I looked at Quinn,

"You live here?!" Quinn nodded,

"Yeah, don't worry, my mom's room is on the third story and mine is in the basement." I nodded catching her drift, Quinn pulled into the garage and stopped her car. Quinn hopped out and came around and opened my door,

"My lady." I laughed as Quinn bowed, Quinn grabbed my backpack of stuff in one hand and my hand in her other. She opened the door to a huge kitchen,

"Kurt would love it here." Quinn laughed, and then Quinn's mom walked into the room.

A/N: so this is close to 2300 words and I need to do some homework so ill keep writing tomorrow or later depending on my mood. -Jay
