"You know I taught him how dialling works."

"Well in his defense you'd been kinda on the run with your bionic boyfriend in Russia-"

"Romania"

"Easily mistaken"

"I'm a huge fan you know- well maybe not huge but I suppose you could say we're acquaintance's- acquaintance adjacent-"

"You're not military are you?" I immediately figure out from the small corridor we pace down from her computer. The span of which it has only taken me ten seconds to uncover for myself. Motioning up and down the hyperactive woman, I recognize "The millennial attitude blended with the relaxed attire- not uniform. You slouch when you walk so you're not a soldier. You're a scientist but considering our current crowd I'd say you've specialized in a particular field relevant to their current case- which apparently is a close friend of mine." Arching my brow when her stride slows, I presume "I'm close?"

"Doctorate in astrophysics if we're gonna to get personal here", she shuffles her tablet to extend her hand "Darcy Lewis." Clasping her hand as we continue striding, Darcy surprises me by mentioning "I'm- I'm a friend of Thor's." Admittedly my stride for the medical ward falters in its pace. I didn't realize Thor had friends outside of us. On Earth at least. When I'm quiet analysing her, Darcy continues to ramble "He talked quite a lot about you when he returned after his brother came to-you know- enslave the human race. Thanks for which by the way. I didn't really want to wind up as a slave princess to-"

"And he didn't even call?" I can't help laughing to myself "You know I taught him how dialling works."

"Well in his defense you'd been kinda on the run with your bionic boyfriend in Russia-"

"Romania."

"Easily mistaken", Darcy waves my correction away but I only find myself smirking quietly. She talks like me. Chuckling to myself as we round the corner I push aside the plastic tarp separating the medical bay to the rest of the black-ops base camp.
