Tom and I finished our breakfast and were soon headed toward the stadium.

As I sat in the car, I fidgeted scrolling through my phone.

I guess you could say I was pretty nervous. I let out a sigh. Tom looked over, then looked back at the road. We turned into the stadium parking lot and Tom parked the car.

"You sure you're ready?" He asked again. "These guys are pretty rowdy" he added. I just looked over and  simply said again:

"As ready as I'll ever be"

The two of us walked through the parking lot toward the stadium, stopping to greet a few of the players on the way.

Tom opened the door to the locker room and walked in as I stood just outside.

The smell of fermenting sweat on shoulder pads and extreme body odor overwhelmed my nose, and  I cringed, rethinking my decision working for these guys. Damn, did they smell!

"You guys smell really bad!" I stated from outside the door. "I'll be on the field!" I added as I started down the tunnel, wanting to get as far away from that smell as possible.

I looked down at my phone, texting a friend.

While I was waking I heard some voices, I disregarded them figuring they we just coaches or some other people who worked here.

While I was lost in my thoughts I walked straight  into a large, muscular figure.

The man just looked down and smiled at me. I gazed up at him, taking in his amazing features and perfect hair. "Oh, um... I'm really sorry. Yeah.. Sorry" I rambled as he just continued to smile at me.

"It's no problem, really, I'm Danny"
