Chapter 26

The burgers Julian had cooked were absolutely amazing, as usual.

Throughout the meal, everyone sat around chatting, laughing, and just having a great time.

After the burgers were finished and the dishes were cleaned up, everyone headed toward the living room to watch a movie or two before we called it a night.

I quickly went into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water before I headed toward the living room to join everyone who was already seated on the two couches facing the large television.

I sat down in the spot Danny saved for me, and cuddled up next to him as the movie started to play.

I was pretty into the movie, but I was also pretty jet lagged.

I moved to a comfortable position, laying on top of Danny, and drifted off to sleep.

The next morning I woke up in a big soft bed, with Danny laying right beside me, still sleeping soundly.

I smiled at how cute he looked when he was sleeping, and then moved to get out of bed to go and take a shower before I start the day.

Before I was able to get out of bed, two strong arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me back onto the large bed.

I turned around to face Danny, to find him smiling at me, with his adorable smile.

"Happy Birthday." He whispered as he gave me a peck on the cheek.

"Thank you dear." I smiled, and gave him a proper kiss on the lips. "I better get showered up."

"No. Stay here with me." Danny whined, still holding me in his arms.

"I'd love to, but I'm sure Tom has something planned for us that probably requires us to be clean and not in pajamas." I giggled.

Just then, the door to the bedroom opened, and in came Julian.

"Well I hope I'm not interrupting anything." He chuckled, "but breakfast is ready." He finished as he turned around to leave the room.

"And Danny Boy, use protection bubs." He said, laughing and causing my face to turn bright red.

Yes, I have went 'all the way' with Danny, he's my boyfriend and I love him, it's permissible. But when someone brings it up, it's always embarrassing.

"Better get showered, Tom made breakfast for you birthday girl." Danny chuckled getting up from the bed and grabbing a T-Shirt.

"That's what I've been trying to do, but you've made it impossible." I giggled, heading toward the bathroom.

"You love me though." He smirked, heading out the door.

"You're lucky you're cute."

I quickly took a shower and put on some athletic shorts and a tank top, because let's face it, Hawaii is a hot place.

I threw my hair up in a messy bun and headed downstairs.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICOLE!!" Everyone yelled, greeting me as I walked into the kitchen for breakfast.

"Thanks guys." I smiled, giving everyone a hug as I sat down at the table.

"The big two oh" Sam said, munching on her breakfast.
