"Nicole.."

I heard a voice above me as I slept, but I ignored it, and fell back asleep.

"Nicole." I heard again, and this time I felt someone's hands on my shoulders.

"Nicole, come on, you need to get up. Our plane leaves in two hours." The voice sighed as the hands shook me again.

It was Tom, and he was waking me up because it is time for us to leave on our plane to Hawaii for my birthday.

I opened my eyes and looked at my clock. 2:18 A.M. Ugh.

I turned over and looked at Tom. "Why so early tho." I whined.

"It's quite a long flight, and we have dinner plans there at six tonight."

"OK, I'm getting up." I sighed as I plopped my legs over the side of my bed.

"Get on some comfy clothes, It's going to be a long flight." Tom said as he walked toward the door of my bedroom. "Do you want anything to eat before we leave?" He asked.

"No thanks." I replied as he walked out of my room and down to the kitchen.

I groggily got out of my bed and walked into my bathroom to take a shower. When I got out, I blow dried my hair, and put on some baggy sweatpants and one of Danny's sweatshirts, totally bypassing make up.

I walked back into my bedroom and looked at the clock. "2:57" I yawned as I grabbed my bags and headed downstairs to the kitchen.

"Good morning, Sunshine." Tom chuckled as I walked into the kitchen where he was preparing himself some type of egg white concoction.

"It's not morning until the sun comes up." I yawned again, letting out a little laugh.

"Well gee, good whatever time of the day it is." Tom laughed as he took the pan he was cooking in off the stove and put his food on a plate.

"Sorry, good morning to you to Tommy." I laughed as I walked over to the fridge and grabbed some bacon.

"I can't believe you eat that stuff. It clogs your arteries." Tom said as he ate his crazy health food.

"I can't believe you eat that stuff. It clogs your arteries." I mocked as I put a couple pieces in a pan on the stove. "Tom, if this is going to clog my arteries, thats a chance I'm willing to take." I laughed grabbing some toast and putting it in the toaster.

"I thought you weren't hungry?" Tom asked as I popped some grapes in my mouth.

"I changed my mind." I stated plainly, as I ate more grapes causing Tom to laugh.

I looked at the clock and it was three o'clock.

"Well, we better get going if we wanna catch our flight." Tom said, putting his dishes in the sink.

"Dude, I just finished cooking and your not even going to let me eat it?" I whined, setting my plate on the counter.

"You can eat on the way there. Our flight leaves at 4, and we have to get through security and everything before that." Tom said as he grabbed some of our bags and took them out to his car.
