Naruto Neglected - The Unbearable Pain (Discontinued)

WAR: MAKING OF A BATTLEFIELD

"The winner of pre-final round is Uzumaki Naruto" Proctor spoke and everyone started to cheer.

"Jiraiya!" Said Tsunade.

"Yeah" Answered toad sannin " but after all that time?.....why now?"

"Yeah why attack now even After transfermation of Bijuu" Tsunade said. " You go take the south and I will handle east side" with that they split.

Everyone's chakra is spiking unusually and the boy could feel it. Even his own chakda flow is disturbed. "What is this?..." Naruto rubbed his eyes as he felt his eye lids are getting heavier. Then the ringing started. It was calm, gentle and soothing, like bells on a Christmas eve.

It started snowing?

No. It wasn't snow. It was feathers, white as snow, falling from the sky into the arena.

Karah looked upward "Wow" she mumbled with her heavy eye's.

"Gha!..." Naruto got startled.

'Genjutsu?'

Then the thumping started. Soon, everyone around the boy started falling down. As if they fell under a deep sleep. Everyone, but Kankuro and Temari. They released themselves off of that Genjutsu, as if they knew something like this would happen and jumped down to the arena.

*BOOOM*

A loud explosion was heard. Naruto looked at the direction where the loud noise came from and saw smoke where the Kage booth was.

"Tou-san!" Naruto cried out worried for the blonde Kage's safety.

Itachi looked at the place where explosion came from  "That snake" Itachi said with a spinning Sharingan.

Then the screaming began.

The ANBU that were among audience, they were o ANBU Black Ops memebers, but Otogakure shinobi in disguise. They started killing people who aren't effected by the jutsu. Konoha shinobi, civilians and anyone else who isn't under the Genjutsu.

"The village is under attack?!" Naruto exclaimed in shock. Soon Sunagakure shinobi arrived. As allies to Konoha he was expecting them to help his fellow Konoha shinobi to defend themselves, but it wasn't the case. They joined up with Otogakure and started killing people together.

"This can't be happening..."

He looked down at the Suna siblings and saw them escaping the arena and killing a few Konoha shinobi who tried to stop them. Sasuke went after them, alone. He was pursuing the Suna sibling. While the exam's proctor, he was fighting off Baki, the sibling's sensei.

"Temari... Why?... This can't be real..."

Kunai flew straight at Naruto, one of the enemy nins saw Naruto just standing there. It almost hit the blond's head, but the boy was fast enough to duck down and avoid it. He laid down on the grown and used the railing as cover. He needs to keeps his head down and stay quiet, very quiet, or else he might get attacked by Suna and Oto shinobi as well.

'Why?! Why are we being attacked now?! And why is Suna helping them?! What about the damn treaty?!'

Soon Naruto heard explosions outside the arena and he felt the ground shok. The attack isn't just happening at the arena, but outside it as well, all over the Konohagakure.

"It's called betrayal."

"There's no such thing as friendship between shinobi, you should know that. Whenever two nations form an alliance it's basically a game of who gets to stab each other in the back first... In this case, Sunagakure has won."
