It's 0900 the next morning, I am to meet with Ms Peach for a debriefing on my first mission. She came through the door right on schedule.
"Good morning Chad, today you will receive sensitive top-secret information concerning the future of earth's society as we know it."
"We are not alone. We are now, and have been, visited by alien species for many years. There are even some of those aliens here now maybe even in our ranks."
"Some of those aliens wish to use us for their nefarious agenda while others wish to liberate us from occupation."
"The liberators have been helping us, encouraging us to organize and how to set up command and control centers from which they could operate. The problem is the occupiers are highly intelligent and have great resources. They are experts in what we call plastic surgery making them able to hide in plain sight. They have been busy waging a campaign to convince us they don't exist."
"But the good news is the liberators report that they are winning the battle and victory is not too far off. We must do our part to guarantee our success or become subservient to the invaders of our planet."
"This is why you were created; you are a product of alien technology that will enable us to level the playing field. You are the first of many to follow. Your first mission was a test to see how you adapt to unexpected changes in a mission which is a must for our highly unpredictable foes."
"Some of the tech we have inherited is so futuristic from our point of view that we have found it best to give you updates in small increments so as to not overload your ability to process said information. For instance, we have incorporated tech in your eyes that enable you to project a trans-dimensional field which will let you instantaneously transport to any four-dimensional coordinate ( one time coordinate and the three dimensions of space) using the GPS like system we have incorporated in the cerebellum of your brain. We will teach you how to access these abilities in the days to come, but for now I want you to take the day to digest what you have heard here today. Baby steps."
