0900 the next morning:
Five alien liberators are waiting seated in the main conference room to update Colonel Peach's task force on the progress of their effort, on moral grounds, to save earth from their planet's faction bent on exploiting other world's natural resources. The Colonel, me and twelve other assistants walk in and sit across from them.
The meeting verified that the identification technique I was genetically programmed for was far more successful than we could ever have imagined. Whenever they telepathically communicated, I would not only feel a tingle but could see a very slight string-like glow emanating from the right Para hippocampal gyrus area of their head. However, I could not decipher the content of their communication probably because aliens think in their primary language.
I was nevertheless able to determine that they were communicating with many many more of their own species than just those in the room. At first, I really did not pay much attention to it thinking it was normal for them to have this level of communication. I soon began to realize they were acting as they all had the same thought at the same time. In addition to those insights, I was detecting energies coming from not only just outside the room but was beginning to be overwhelmed by the detection of many other aliens in remarkably close proximity, THEY WERE EVERYWHERE!
I sent Colonel Peach a message to her tablet to request a short recess. She took me to a secure room as I asked for and I began explaining my insights. She immediately said "Damn, they have been playing us all along. It's the old "good cop-bad cop" routine"." (pause)"If what you say is accurate, they have even infiltrated my command." Colonel Peach was quick to understand the ramifications of my report and I could see the wheels turning in her head. She said "I'm going to continue the meeting as if nothing happened and I would like you to walk around the compound to gather further verification of your theory. Do not look anyone straight in the eye, I do not want to tip our hand." "This is bad!"
