Hey guys!

Guess what? I'm finally updating this!

I'm really sorry for the long wait, I just didn't feel like writing this for months. I decided to quickly finish this story off and changing it to a Short Story instead :) But yay, at least I'm finishing this! :D

I'm thinking about doing a Prequel, about what Flynn did before he disappeared, and what happened that made him that way :)

If you're actually reading this write now, I will personally deliver a huge chocolate bar to your house. Jks. But I didn't eat the chocolate this time! Whoop.

Okay, I'll stop talking now.

Here's Chappie Eleven!

Chapter Eleven

          “You guys are so clueless.”

I turned to look at the person who interrupted the most awkward moment of my life. Or should I say – the person who saved me.

You see, right before he walked in, Jake was tickling me like there was no tomorrow because I said something about his manhood. Basically, I called him gay – as a joke of course, because I saw he had a whole playlist of Justin Bieber’s songs on his iPod. He started blushing, but of course, being Jake Carter, he immediately stopped and started torturing me instead.

Just after a few seconds later, he suddenly froze, still hovered above me. It was the same gaze that he looked at me in the basketball court a few weeks ago. And just like the last time, I found myself staring into his deep blue eyes, mesmerized.

I was scared of what could’ve happened if Flynn didn’t walk in. Although a part of me was curious, and mad at Flynn for interrupting what could have happened.

Admit it, Farah. You wanted him to kiss you.

No, no, I didn’t, I immediately snapped back at the romantic part of my brain.

          Yes, you did.

Ignoring my own thoughts, I turned my attention back to the two guys in front of me, who currently looked like they wanted to start fighting in the middle of my room. Their eyes were icy cold as they stared at one another. But at least it was better than the time when they saw each other at the airport.

Jake sighed from the spot he was sitting on my bed. “What do you want?”

His brother shook his head mischievously. “Mrs. Carter wanted me to tell you that dinner was ready.” I noticed that Jake flinched at the word ‘Mrs. Carter’, since she was still technically Flynn’s mother too.

“Yeah, sure. We’ll be down in a minute,” I answered him after a moment of silence.

With another smirk, he left the room.

That boy smirked more than Jake, and damn, did I find it annoying. I really wanted to know what he was on about.

Reaching out, I took Jake’s hand in mine and squeezed, ignoring the tingly feeling I got every time I touched him.

Clenching his jaw, he looked up at me, his eyes emotionless. “He does know that she’s still his mom, right?”

That was exactly what I thought, but I didn't mention it. “Maybe he’s just scared.”
