"Daddy! Please lock mamma in the washroom."

I looked away from the mirror where I was getting ready and kneeled down to her level.

"Did she force you to eat?" I asked while sniffing her cheek.

She nodded while playing with my hair, "also, I don't want to wear my pink panty. Ask her where is my orange one?"

I saw Molly leaning on the door, with her hands crossed on her chest.

"Where's her orange panty?" I asked in utmost seriousness.

Molly said, "seeing the CEO of astro inc.  fighting over girls' underwear was the only thing left to do in my bucket list."

I and Rain looked at each other and roller our eyes. I helped Rain to dress up for school while Molly prepared for breakfast.

She shouted from the kitchen, "I hope you remember you're going to drop and fetch your daughter from her piano lessons from today."

"What?" I yelped, "I can't be late to office."

"Your employees can wait honey, my patients can't." She said in a finality.

Molly was a doctor and worked under Josh's supervision. Josh was her cousin and my doctor.

"But I have an appointment with Josh too."

"I'm sorry but you have to manage it Sarawat. You know I cannot continue dropping her off with all extra hours I have to do in hospital."

With that, she gave me and Rain, a kiss on the cheek and went off.

I sighed and Rain sighed too. I pouted and she pouted too.

"Are you imitating me baby girl?"

"Are you imitating me baby dirl?" She said amusingly.

"You little squirrel!" I said.

"You little twirrel!"

I started tickling her which made her laugh uncontrollably. Of course it had to end with milk spilling all over table. I should officially start giving tips about how to be late to work. 

After a few minutes, I dropped Rain to her school and made my way to hospital.

In spite of efficiently wasting my time playing with my daughter, I managed to be there on time.

Josh hugged me and motioned me to sit.

"How are you feeling?"

"Awful", I said.

He stayed silent which was a sign for me to go on, although I knew he knew what was I going to say. I had been saying the same things for five years now.

"There's still no improvement Josh. I don't feel any better."

"Do you feel nauseated?"

"No."

"Did you pass out?"

"Nope."

"Is your head hurting?"

"No."

He blinked, "what's the problem then?  You seem fine."
