Noah...- chapter 2

Lily's POV:

Noah has been very distant lately. He is very upset about Claire cheating on him. I hate seeing him like this. "Hey lil?" Abbey says. She is on the computer in the living room and I'm on my laptop sitting on the couch. "Yea abs?" I say as I take my earbuds out. "Is Noah gonna be okay?" She said. She had tears in her eyes and Abbey rarely cries. "He'll be fine. He's upset about that girl cheating on him." I said. Abbey got up and walked over to be. She sat down and wrapped her arms around me. We sat there for about five minutes. Abbey would sniffle a couple of times. I rubbed her back. "He'll be okay abs." I said as I noticed a couple of tears have fallen from my own eyes. Abbey got up and wiped her eyes. "I haven't cried in a while and that felt really good." She said while laughing. I laughed also. "I love you Abbey." I said. "I love you too Lily." She said. The doorbell rang and I got the door because I knew it was Adam. "Hey baby!" I said. He hugged me and kissed me. He walked in and sat on the couch. I closed the door and sat down next to him. "I let you two lovebirds be together..." Abbey said as she was walking upstairs. "Wanna watch Netflix?" I asked Adam. "Sure whatever you want sweetie." He said. I kissed his cheek and we picked something on Netflix. "Do you want me to make kale chips?" I asked. "That would be awesome baby!" He said. I got up and made the kale chips. While they were in the oven I came back to the couch and sat down. "You're the best." Adam said. I jokingly flipped my hair. "I know." I said sassily. He grabbed my hand and pulled me closer to him. "Lil I've never loved someone like I love you. You're the best girl in the world and I mean it." He said. His hazel eyes looked like they were sparkling. I felt a tear shed from my eye. He wiped the tear from my eye and kissed me. "I love you so much Adam. I know we're only in high school but I really do love you." I said. He kissed my hand. "Why do you blush every time I kiss your hand?" He said. "I honestly don't know!" I said. He started laughing and he grabbed my hand and kissed my hand like a thousand times. "Stoooooooppppp" I was laughing so hard. The timer went off and I went to go get the kale chips. I set the kale chips on the coffee table. "I'm gonna check on my brother." I told Adam. "Alright. Do you want me to pause the movie?" He asked. "No it's fine babe." I said. He nodded and I went upstairs. I knocked on Noah's door. "What?!" He said with an attitude. "Noah it's Lily." I said.
"What do you want?"

"I wanted to check on you. You haven't been out of your room all day!"

"I'm fine! Can you go away now?!"
I was very surprised about how rude he was being. I didn't say anything else and I walked downstairs. I sat down and Adam wrapped his arms around me. I laid my head on his shoulder. I guess I fell asleep because I woke up and it was morning time. Adam and I were laying down on the couch. I sit up and I see Noah in the kitchen.
"Morning Noah.." I said. He just looked at me and went back upstairs. He is taking this breakup way to hard. I know she cheated on him but does he have to be a bitch to everyone? "Hey!" I kinda yelled. He looked back at me. He looked surprised because I raised my voice. "Why are you being a jerk?!" I kinda yelled again. He just shrugged. Then I noticed his wrists. They were all cut up. "Noah what the hell?!" I said as I pointed to his wrists. He didn't answer. "NOAH?!" I yelled very loudly. I was so hurt that my brother is hurting him self. Noah looked down at his wrists and started tracing the cuts. "Noah why did you do this to yourself?" I said lowering my voice. "I don't know lil. It seemed like the only thing to do..." He said. "Noah! I know you're hurt by what she did but you shouldn't have done this! I'm being tortured by a girl who gave me a concussion and I don't even cut!" I said. Noah relaxed. He walked over to me and gave me a hug. "I-I'm s-sorry Lily." He cried. "It's okay. Just get over her! She doesn't understand what an awesome guy you are." I said. Noah nodded. "What's Adam still doing here?" He asked. "We were watching a movie last night and I guess we fell asleep." I told him. Noah looked over at him. I don't know how Adam didn't wake up because I was yelling. Noah walked upstairs. I sat down by the couch and I ran my fingers through Adams hair. He woke up and held my hand. I knew what was coming next. He looked me in the eyes and kissed my hand. I felt my cheeks get warm. "Why do you do this to meeeeeee?" I said. He laughed. "You're so cute." He said and smiled . Love this boy.
