Betrayal- Chapter 7

Josh's POV:

When I saw my brother kissing my wife I stormed off. I was hurt. I didn't know where to go but I got in my car and drove. I needed to think. Why would they do this to me. I wasn't even listening when I caught them. My phone started ringing and it was Colleen. I ignored it. Then Lily called and I picked it up.
L- Where are you?
J- I went for a drive.
L- Can you listen to me for a minute?
J- Sure...
L- Mom thought it was you! Uncle Jeremy thought it was Erin! They didn't mean to.
J- How do you know?
L- Because mom and Jeremy would never ever do that to you! They love you too much!
J- I'll be home in half an hour.
We ended the call and I turned around. Why was I so stupid. I knew Colleen would never do that. On the way home I noticed a drunk driver. I shook my head because of how stupid they are. Then I realized the car was coming straight for me and there was no way of moving. Then it happened he bashed into my car and everything went black.

Colleens POV:

Lily told me that Josh would be home in half an hour. An hour passed and I got a call.

C- Hello?
P- Is this Colleen Evans?
C- Yes. May I ask who this is?
P- This is the police. Your husband Joshua Evans got into a car accident.
C- WHAT? Where is he?
The police told me the location. I told everyone and left. Lily went with me because she didn't want me to be alone. We pulled up to the accident. I saw Josh in an ambulance. I jumped out of the car and ran to him. "Josh?!" I cried. "Ma'am Joshua Evans is unconscious." One of the paramedics said. Lily came up beside me. "I-is he gonna be okay?" I barely got out. "We are gonna take him to the hospital now." The paramedic said. Lily and I nodded and got in the car. We followed the ambulance to the hospital. This is awful. My poor Josh.
