It has been 5 minutes since Noah has left my room to go eat.
When he left I put my jacket over my waist and I put my hat back on.
Now I'm looking through my backpack for money and I found $15 which should be enough for a new jacket or hat. I think I'm ready to dinner.
I head out my door and then walk down the stairs. I see that Noah and Ben were waiting for me at the dinner table. It seems like Ben was trying to get Noah to talk. I got nervous. "Hey, sorry to keep you guys waiting" I say sitting down next to Noah "I-It's fine" Noah smiles and I smile back.
"Did I miss something?" I ask look up at Ben "Ever since Noah came down he had his mouth shut and didn't say anything, so I got worried and tried to get him to talk" Ben smiled nervously "I see" I respond looking down at Noah who was staring at his plate.
"Well you must be hungry!" Ben said getting out of his chair "Actually-" I started "I will get the food!" Ben said as he walked away.
When Ben was out of sight I turn to Noah "Noah you can talk to Ben. Just don't mention what happened in my room" I whisper "Mhm!" Noah hummed, I smiled.
"Can I call you Fluffy?" Noah asks me "Why Fluffy?" I ask him as I sit back in my chair "You know! Like how your ears and tail are fluffy! When I pet them, they were so soft!" Noah announced "Shh Noah!" I whisper "Right sorry!" Noah whispers back.
Jeez this kids cuteness is gonna be the end of me.
This is what I get for helping out a 17 and 7 year old.
"Call me Fluffy" I mutter as I put my hand on my cheek "Really?!" Noah exclaim "Yeah kid" I say smiling a bit "Thank you Fluffy" Noah smiles hugging me "Hey stay in your seat!!!" I yell as Ben came in with three plates full of sushi.
"Sushi?" I ask as Ben places my plate down "Yea, I really tried to tell me what you think!" Ben exclaims. Now I see where shorty gets his energy from. I watch as Ben goes around the table to Noah and places his food down "Yay! Sushi!" Noah shouts as he starts to reach for his food.
"Noah! Use your fork!" Ben shouted "Sorry" Noah says as he grabs his fork. I didn't know how it happened but I started to laugh.
Not even my own family made me laugh! Maybe this is the family I belong to?
No! No way! I'm not even getting anything out of watching them! I can't stay!
