The Foxes Curse

Chapter 13- The Dark Cave

I can say that I have been walking in these woods for two days along with Ben and Noah. I have gotten no rest and yet I wasn't tired, I knew that once I have turned back into my normal form I would be too weak to fight but that's why I won't turn back, not now. 

I didn't know the time and I didn't want to wake up Ben so I guess it is 8:30 am. 

After a while I realize that I am right in front of the cave and I feel joy overcome my body as well as exhaustion. 

"Ben!" I exclaim as I shake my body slightly to wake them up. 

"OW!" Ben yells as he gets up from the ground due to me shaking to hard and him hitting the ground. "Sorry, I don't know how to wake people up. Introvert here~" I hummed as I carefully turn back to my normal form while catching Noah before he hit the ground as well "Fluffy" Noah whispers as he rubs his eyes "Hey Kid" I smile lightly "Ok so you catch him but not me?" Ben says while crossing his arms "Funny" I say as I place Noah down on his feet. 

I was so busy with Ben and his complaining that I didn't notice that Noah ran off. 

"Wait wasn't Noah right next to you?" Ben asks me as looks around "Yeah but-" I start but notice at the corner of my eye. Noah running into the dark cave.

 "Noah!" I shout as I ran after him but he was grabbed by a tall figure which who walked out into the sun and placed Noah back down.

"Wow..." I hear Ben whisper under his breath as I just stare at the figure. 

The figure was about 6'10 but still it was scary tall. 

It beamed down at me for a second then it sat down in front of me and turned into its normal form. It was Lucas. His tail wags and his ears twitch a bit. 

I saw that it got smaller, around 6'5. 

"Are you? Uh Lucas Miller" Ben asks as he takes a step forward "Yup, I was chillin in my cave when shorty here jumped on me so I came out here to see my dear Genevieve and Brownie" Luke explains as I see Ben calm down a bit. 

"Well Mr. Lucas we-" Ben starts but gets cut off by Luke "Nah Nah Nah drop the "Mr.", Brownie" Luke moves his hand showing that it was ok for Ben to just call him Lucas "I'm not that old, I'm only 19" Luke continues proud of himself "Wow" Ben eyes light up. 

Luke smiles as he turns back to me who was still surprise that he actually showed up. "Not even a hello?" Luke asks me as he tilts his head to the right a bit "Nah" I smile as I walk away to go make sure Noah does run off again.
