The Foxes Curse

Chapter 7- Wait You Will Help Me?!

So am I living with two humans who know that I am a fox from the omega verse? 

Yes, yes I am. 

Do they both see me as a pet and not a guardian?

Yes *sigh* yes they do. 

I still don't know what I am getting out of helping these jerks. 

I'm still waiting for the question "Hey you're under a curse so is there a cure?" so that I can say "Oh yeah there is but I don't NEED it" and they will say "Don't worry Gene! We got you! We will get it for you!" so I can reply with "Omg thanks guys! You are the best" so I can get a "No problem Gene! Your the best!" But did i ever get that? 

No. 

Will I ever get that question? 

At this rate I don't think so.

 So here I am sitting in my room, reading a book. AND? You guessed it. Talking to myself. 

I was reading my book until I heard a knock at the door "come in" I say as my ears twitch and my tail moves. 

Benjamin came through the door and hands me a glass of milk "what is this?" I ask "Uh milk, dairy, cow?" Ben answers as he sits on the floor "I know that but why?" I ask again "Because I thought you were thirsty? Sorry for being nice" Ben rolls his eyes "I know that, jeez! I rarely get milk at my-" I started but then I remembered that I said I didn't have a home "...where i sleep at" I continue "right sorry" Ben says "Think of it as a thanks for helping me keep the house" Ben smiles. 

Yeah ok I know the kid's thankful but how am I supposed to ask "Hey Ben you know what I will take as a thanks? You helping me find a cure for my curse!" 

That would have been dumb for me to ask! 

I look down at Ben who was smiling "Hey Ben you know what I will take as a thanks?" I ask "Hm what?" Ben responds "You helping me find a cure for my curse?" I ask. 

Ok! Im dumb! 

Kill me now! 

Ben looks up at me "I mean you do need it and it is the best way to thank you for helping us" Ben was thinking out loud but it didn't bother me, I like hearing his plans. 

"Yeah lets do it!" Ben exclaimed getting up from the floor "Wait...really?" I asks, I was confused there was no way Ben was actually gonna help me. 

Doesn't he know how dangerous this is! 

Well I guess it's my fault for suggesting it but still. 

"Yeah! We can do it!" Ben exclaims "Don't you know how dangerous it is?" I ask getting up from my bed, we are now standing face to face. 

"Gene if there is a way for me to thank you for everything you have done and this is it? Then I'm gonna do it! No question" Ben said firmly "Come on. We can talk more downstairs".
