Chapter 14- Okay, First A Warning Pheromone

I pick up Noah, then stand next to Ben. 

"Alright so what do you kids need?" Luke asks as he stands up and crosses his arms "well we have this map but we need a alpha to read it" Ben explains as he reaches into his brown bag he had brought with us and pulls out the map. 

"Ok let me see" Luke says as he holds his hand out as Ben places the map in his hand. "We need you to do a warning pheromone" Ben says as he rubs the back of his neck with his hand "Oh yea sure" Luke nods as he looks over the map. 

Luke looks over the map a bit more before walk up to Noah and handing him the map. "Hold on to that for me, would ya" Luke winks as he walks back over to where he was standing. 

"Alright this will just take a second" Luke says as he calms his breathing, I saw nothing there but I sense a strong scent or aura coming from Lucas. Intense fear was trying to push its way into me as unsettling waves of pheromones came from him. 

Ben was pale, though it seemed to have no effect on Noah. He stood there for awhile just staring at the so called map, waiting. After a while we saw a smile come across Luke's face which made Noah and Ben smile of hope. 

"Got it" Luke says very proud of himself, Ben ran over to him, picked up the map and tilted his head while looking at it "I don't see it, it's the same" Ben said looking up at Luke "Now now brownie, lets go over this" Luke says putting an arm around Ben, I could sense annoyance from Ben and from me...it was a weird feeling but I didn't want Luke touching Ben. 

"Only an Alpha can read the map when a Warning Phenomenon has happened" Luke explains "Uh huh right..." Ben says looking down at the map. 

Ben stares at the map for a bit then gave the map to Luke and took a few steps back "Go on, lead us" Ben was nervous, I could sense it. Luke shrugs as he walks up to Noah and places him on Luke's shoulders and then they start to walk. 

"Come on Ben, Luke is a fast walker so we need to-" I start talk but realize something on Ben's cheeks, it was light pinkish and I refuse to think much of it. I rush over to Ben and take his hand "Huh?!" Ben exclaims as the pink grows brighter "Did you not hear me?" I ask "N-no...sorry" Ben places a hand on the back of his head and gives a weak smile. 

"I said we need to hurry because Luke is a fast walker" I exclaim as I start to run after Noah and Luke, still wondering what is wrong with Ben.
