Namjoon
"You know you're not supposed to be smoking." I glance over to the patio door, a frown on my face. My boyfriend walks over and takes the 'cancer stick' out of my mouth, putting it out and throwing it into garbage. "What's on your mind, love, hmm?"
"Everything." I mumble. Seokjin wraps his arms around my neck and pulls me into a hug. "Just....I found out that I'm not Jiyeon's biological father. The test results came back."
Jiyeon is my four year old daughter. Her mother convinced me that I was her father for three years, until eventually letting the secret of her affair out after a night of drinks. I left immediately, still keeping contact with my daughter as we filed for divorce.
"Oh Joon....I'm so sorry." He furrows his eyebrows, concerned. "But we still get to see her, right?"
"Yeah. It's a good thing and I'm so happy....but it doesn't hurt any less, you know? I raised this little girl for three years, thinking that she was biologically mine. I was stuck in a completely loveless relationship, just to keep Jiyeon happy. But it was all a lie....fuck, my ex is a piece of shit." I tear up. "I love my little girl, so much. And she's still my daughter despite having different DNA, but her biological dad is a child predator and it terrifies me, Jin. What if he gets to her? I'm filing for full custody because her mom doesn't care about her at all, but what if I lose?"
"Hey, hey you're focusing too much on the negative, babe. You will win that custody battle, when the courts see how bad she treats Jiyeon. We'll take her in, and raise her as our own. Treat her exactly how we'll treat our future children, yeah?" He runs his fingers through my hair. "Everything will be alright."
"You're so willing to do this, even though we've only been together for a year." I peck his lips. "I don't deserve you, Kim Seokjin."
"Stop it~!" He grins, pressing his lips to mine. "You're gonna do great, okay? Jiyeon will be with us, and we'll take her out on a day of fun to celebrate."
"I love you so much, Jin, I don't know what I would do without you."
"I love you too, Joon."
