I got the inspiration for this oneshot, after watching these beautiful people sing 😌. Stan ACE.
Seokjin POV
I wake up in the middle of the night, to soft whimpers and sobs. Sitting up, I switch the lamp on and turn to my husband. "Hey, baby. What's wrong?"
Namjoon just continues to cry, his body shaking with every sob. I gently tug his hands away from his face and scoop him up into my arms, whispering soothing words into his ear. "My poor baby."
He calms down a bit, but more tears roll down his puffy cheeks. In an attempt to get him to stop crying, I start to hum a song that I had heard on the radio earlier in the day. His sobs subside to whimpers and sniffles, and he gazed up at me looking like a kicked puppy.
"Wanna tell me what happened, my love?" I stroke his hair. He nods lightly and nuzzles his face in my neck.
"I h-had a bad dream. Y-you called m-me names, and hit me." He hiccups. "C-Cause I was ugly."
"Oh, Joonie. You know that I would never lay a hand on you in an aggressive manner. And I wouldn't call you names either, you're my precious angel. I love you, doll."
"H-Hyungie." He wipes his eyes. "W-Will you sing to m-me?"
"Of course, darling." I smile softly, starting to sing the words of the song that I was previously humming.
"What would I do without your smart mouth? Drawing me in, and you kicking me out."
He gazes up at me, slowly starting to relax.
"Got my head spinning, no kidding, I can't pin you down. What's going on in that beautiful mind? I'm on your magical mystery ride."
Namjoon sniffles a bit, his grip on my shirt tightening.
"And I'm so dizzy, don't know what hit me, but I'll be alright. My head's under water but I'm breathing fine. You're crazy and I'm out of my mind."
I gently stroke his hair, rocking him a bit as I sing.
"Cause all of me, loves all of you. Loves your curves and all your edges. All your perfect imperfections. Give your all to me. I'll give my all to you."
He smiles slightly, removing one of his hands and placing it in mine.
"You're my end and my beginning, even when I lose I'm winning. Cause I give you all of me. And you give me all of you. How many times do I have to tell you, even when you're crying you're beautiful too."
He giggles a bit and leans up to press his lips to my cheek.
"The world is beating you down, I'm around through every mood. You're my downfall, you're my muse, my worst distraction, my rhythm and blues. I can't stop singing, it's ringing, in my head for you."
I watch as his eyes begin to close, and his breathing becomes slow.

I finish the song early, and gently place him back onto the mattress. "I love you, Namjoon. Never forget that."
