I was reading a book called 'Hit.' It reminded me so much of my life. It was about this girl named 'Elizabeth' with her parents 'Carrie' and 'Jake.' Jake beat on Elizabeth and Carrie. Eventually, the 2 girls moved to a small town called 'Seattle,' but Carrie beat on Liz, so Liz ran away to a town called 'Harrisburg.' It was the 20th most dangerous city. She met this girl and became best friends with her. I haven't read the rest yet.

"Kit!" I look up. "Huh?" Stan smiled. "It's time for school!" I smile, bookmarking my page and running outside with Stan. I hop onto his back and he takes me to school.

We arrive at the bus stop. I knew Cthulhu wasn't coming. I smile proudly. "Hey, Kit!" Kyle ruffles my hair. "Heyo daddio." "WHAT?!" He screamed. I burst out laughing. "Stan is a comfortable chair." Stan then grabs me by my legs, wearing me like a backpack. "OI MATE, WHY YOU DO THIS?!" I scream in a British accent. "OI MATE, nobody cares." Cartman said. "OI MATE, stop talkin' British." Kenny replied. "OI MATE!" We all said 'oi mate' like the birds in Finding Nemo.

After school, I was walking home with the boys. Just me, Kyle, Stan, Kenny and Cartman. I saw a black figure. I blink and it disappears.

We were playing superheroes and were out exploring, when I saw it again. In the parking lot. "Guys?" I said. They didn't respond. I walk toward the figure. It then shot towards me. I scream.

<Stan's POV>

"Kit?" Screaming. We all turn around. Kit was on her knees. I run toward her. She laughed. "Kit, you good?" "Kit isn't here right now..." She turns around. Her eyes were yellow. "Hah. Really funny Kit. Stop acting like Bill Cipher." She laughed louder. "I'm not Kit. I'm a possessive creature known as 'Shadow Man.' Now, I have to go. I can only possess depressed girls, so yeah..." I grab Kit by her neck. She starts choking. "Y-You hurt her too, you know?" I froze.

I had fought it. "Fine. You wanna fight?" A knife appears in Kit's hand. I froze. She throws the knife. I duck. "STAN!" Kyle ran over.

We were all beat up and scratched. 'Kit' walks over to me, raising the knife. I close my eyes. Impact never came. I open my eyes. She was frozen, shaking. "Get out of my head..." She growled. We all stood up. She smacked her head off of a pole. "There's only way to settle this.." She raises the knife. "Guys, I love you. This time I'm really gonna have to go, alright?" "K-KIT! NO!" She stabs herself. "GAH! THAT HURTS!!" She fell to her knees. The shadow dissipates.

We took her to the hospital. Everyone was waiting. The doctor finally walks out. "W-Well?" I asked. "She..." He sighed. "She didn't make it. I'm sorry."

<2 weeks later>

"I learned something at that moment. You should always love someone until they're gone. But even then, you have to keep loving them. We all loved Kit and she loved us. You never really know how much you loved someone until they're gone." I said. We were at her funeral. I walked down the stage steps. Faith was crying in Cartman's arms. Everyone in town was here... and when I say everyone, I mean EVERYONE. "We all loved Kit like a relative. We'll never forget her innocent smile, her laugh..." Kyle starting sobbing, so he ran off stage. "Kit was my best friend. Even though I was piece of shit to her, she was... my best friend." Cartman said. "She always got beat by her family, but even then, she smiled and carried on." Faith ran over to Cartman.

<Nobody's POV>

Kit was gone. That's it. That's the end, right?
