Chapter 9-Shopping

December 28 1976

Regulus had just taken a nap. He had been wearing all of James clothes for the past 4 days and he wanted some of his own.

So he asked Ms. Potter.

"Um...Euphimina?" Reg asked

"Yes hun" she said

"I was wondering if you could take me and Sirius to the shops today?" He asked

Emphimina smiled "of course darling let me just get James and we will be ready to go"

Soon enough James and Sirius came tramping down the stairs.

"James what do you think moony will like on me" asked Sirius in the car.

"I don't know Sirius" James said with a smile. They are so in love with each other he thought

"Alright everyone I'll leave you to it!" Said emphmina walking out of the store.

Immediately Sirius rushed around the store until he saw a thick leather jacket. "Whoa" he said with an amazed look. "Prongs look! look!"

James looked at the jacket and chuckled "glad we came to this store?"

Sirius just smiled and nodded.

Regulus smiled and nodded, he was so proud of his brother.

After they got some wizarding clothes for regulus. Just some basic pants and button up shirts.

They side apparated home with emphmina, all happy with their purchases.

"Thank you so much emphmina." Said regulus

"Thank you!" Said Sirius

"Yea mom thanks!" Said James in the same child tone voice.

They got home and immediately Sirius ran upstairs to the bathroom.

James and regulus just laughed thinking he had to pee or something, but when he came back down they were proved wrong.

Sirius came down with black eye liner. "Pretty cool eh?! I saw it in a muggle magazine"

James and regulus stood there amazed at what was on his eyes.

James spoke next "oh do mine! do mine!" He said.

Sirius just smiled and nodded.

After everyone had dinner later that evening, regulus decided to take a nice hot shower.

He turned on the faucet and waited for the water to heat up. One the water was steaming hot he jumped in and sighed in peacefulness. It felt so good the water trickling down his back. It was refreshing.

What mom would think of me now. Showering at the fucking Potter household. He just laughed quietly.

He turned the water off and hoped out of the shower. He grabbed a towel off the rack and tied it right at his hips.

He walked back into the bedroom to see James sitting at the edge of his bed.

"Potter! What the fuck!" Said regulus

James was just staring at him, you could practically see the drool that was coming out of his mouth.

"Oh- I um... um I- " James couldn't comprehend words right now looking at the boy in front of him.

"Whatever you can stay here just let me get dressed." Said reg getting his clothes then walking into the bathroom again.

He wore his new black pants and button up shirt.

He walked out and James was blushing vigorously.

That made regulus blush too so now they were sitting in silence with red checks.

Just then Sirius saved the day by stumbling into the room. "Hey guys wanna go play quitich!"

"Yea!" Said James in desperate need to get out of the room.

"I'm staying here and reading." Said reg putting on his neutral face.

"Awwww come on Reggie please" asked Sirius.

"Don't call me that. And no" he said

"Reg please it would be so much more fun if you played." Said James shaking off the past feelings he had.

Regulus sighed "fine" he shut his book. "Let me put on some more appropriate clothes" as he slammed the door in their face.

Reg walked out wearing some sweats and the griffindoor quitch sweater he stole from James.

They both smiled and pulled him down to the pitch.

Regulus was zooming through the air at incredibly high speed. His wet hair flying behind him in the wind. His hand reached out and snatched the tiny gold ball. He smiled the biggest smile, hell yea! He thought.

James smiled looking at the young black. His mask was finally wearing off.
