April 3rd, 1997
Regulus was happy. Truly happy. He hadn't felt that in years. He and James had been on 4 dates now. 4!
The second one following a week after their first date, James took him to the astronomy tower to lay on the roof and look at the stars.
The third one was when James took him flying at the dead of night and they just flew around the lake.
The fourth on was just a few days ago when James took him on a picnic.
What a helpless romantic.
They still haven't told anyone yet. Sneaking kisses in broom cobords, or going out at the dead of night, but that was all about to change.

James and regulus were in James' bed with a miffildo charm and the curtains closed.
"James are you sure he is gonna take it well?" Asked regulus getting nervous.
"Reg, its gonna be ok." James said rubbing his back.
Regulus took a deep breath and nodded "all right"
James grabbed his hand and they got out of James' bed.
Sirius was just sitting on Remus playing with his hair while Remus read.
Suddenly he saw James and regulus both come out of James' bed.
"WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL!" Shouted Sirius as he jumped off of Remus.
"HOW THE HELL DID MY YOUNGER BROTHER GET IN OUR ROOM?! HOW DID HE GET IN YOUR BED?!" Sirius was shouted still very confused.
"Sirius shhh!" Said Remus trying to calm him down already knowing what's about to go down.
James and regulus stood their blush dusting both of their checks. "I- Sirius w-we need to tell you something..." said regulus
Sirius was holding his hands on his hips with a rasied eyebrow. When his face slowly started changing. It went from a confused face to a face of realization.
"Oh no.....oh...OH NO! James tell me you are not shagging my brother!" Yelled Sirius again.
"Well...." he said scratching the back of his neck.
"Your so dead." He said starting to run after him, though he was smiling.
James went wide eyed, and bolted out of their room. Remus and regulus stood in the room and started bursting with laughter.
"Ya know, I alway thought something was going on between you too." Said Remus smirking.
Regulus blushed "same goes to you and my brother" he said
Remus chuckled "thanks regulus"
Regulus nodded and chuckled with him.
Meanwhile outside:
"JAMES POTTER YOU GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!" Said Sirius chasing him though the common room.
James just snorted and kept running through the common room and out the portrait.
"What are they up to now" whispered Marlene into Mary's ear.
"I don't know but it's probably no good." She said giggling.
James just kept running and running when he tripped over a rock outside the castle.
"Uhh" he groaned in pain.
Sirius slowed down and put a foot on top of his stomach. "You are going to tell me what's going on right now."
James just shook his head laughing and nodded. Sirius helped him up and they started there walk back to the castle where James explained everything.

"Merlin." Sirius said when they got to the portrait.
James just swallowed and nodded. "Yea..."
The door opened and they walked up the stairs back into the dorm.
Regulus looked nervous standing straight up.
Sirius sighed "....James if you hurt my brother in anyway I'm going to kill you" he said in his face being blunt.
James struck a worried face and nodded quickly.
Sirius patted him on the shoulder and moved to regulus.
"Do you like James?" Sirius asked reg
Regulus nodded his head yes.
"Alright. Well I can't say this was expected but I guess I'm happy for you guys " Sirius said with a smile and an eye roll.
James and regulus turned to each other and hugged.
Sirius broke through them,"hey no snogging in front of your brother."
"Sirius we were literally just hugging" regulus said
Sirius waved a finger in front of his face "ah-ah-ah I don't wanna hear it Reggie." He said with a smile.
Just then Peter walked in the room with a muffin in his hand. "Hey gu- wait why's regulus here?" He asked
After that James, Sirius, Remus, and regulus all lost control and burst into a fit of laughter.
