February 1st 1977
James hadn't gotten out of his bed in days. Sirius, Remus and Peter were all bringing him food and water.
One morning Sirius was bringing up his breakfast when he opened the curtain to James bed and jumped on him.
"Oi! Padfoot what the hell!" Shouted James.
"Come on prongs get your ass out of bed we're playing quitich." Said Sirius with a smile
James groaned "no I don't want to."
"When has James Potter ever said no to quitich." Asked Sirius
"When your brother...." James was saying then stopped
"Forget about little Reggie let's go play some quitich you know you want to" said Sirius
James shook his head.
"What Bambi, you scared." Said Sirius with a smirk on his face.
James rolled over and looked Sirius in the eyes "padfoot, I am not Bambi and for the last time n-" he almost finished that sentence until he saw regulus on the pitch outside.
"You know what....I am up for some quitich today" said James with a smirk.
He got on all his quitich gear and was heading out of the common room when a girl grabbed his arm.
"James where the hell have you been! I don't see you for days then you come waltzing down the stairs in quitich gear!" Lili evans yelled at him.
James went red. "Um- sorry Lili" he said with an apologetic smile.
Lili punched him in the shoulder. "What happened James" she said.
James sighed. Well she is the smartest person I know besides moony. I guess I could tell her.
James sighed "fine but not here." He said as he lead her up the stairs to the boys dorm.
He started to tell her everything.

"And that's why I've been in the dorm" said James
Lili had her jaw to the floor. "Oh Merlin Potter. I don't even know what to say"
James nodded, he felt a arm go around him. Lili pulled him into a hug. "I'm so sorry James."
"Thank you Lili" James said hugging her back.
"Friends?" He asked holding out his hand.
"Friends." She said shaking his hand and smiling with him.
"Now what to do about the little black...." started Lili

That same morning
Regulus was still in bed. He didn't want to move. Ever.
Barty was right beside him, "come on reg you wanna go play some quitich, that always cheers you up!" He said
Regulus just groaned "Barty, the whole Slitherin house hates me, I have to go home for the summer, and worst of all I don't have a brother anymore." He said after flopping back down onto his pillow.
"Yes regulus I know, but playing some quitich might cheer you up a bit." Said Barty
Regulus sighed. "Fine just let me get dressed." He said.
Barty smiled, "ok good job regulus"
Regulus just groaned again and flipped him off.
Once he was dressed he headed down to the pitch with Barty at his side.
"Ok I wanna practice seeking so let's go" said regulus trying to keep a straight face but he was failing out of excitement.
They both got in the air and Barty waved his wand to release the snitch.
Regulus was flying through the air left and right. His uniform flying with him in the wind. He took some deep breaths and shouted "WHOOO!" On his broom.
Barty chuckled, he loved seeing his best friend happy. Regulus was flying and suddenly he slipped.
He was about 70ft in the air. He fell off his broom and started the descent down.
Holy shit I'm gonna die. This is it. I never told James that I-
That thought was cut off when someone stopped his fall. They grabbed hold of him and lowered him all the way to the ground.
"Your ok, I got you" said James holding on to the boy he just saved.
Regulus tried to pull away, but he couldn't. He just couldn't keep away from James.
Regulus hugged tightly onto James. I can't keep going back to him. Thought regulus.
"Stop." Regulus said to James getting off of him.
"Stop! What do you mean stop I just saved your god damn life!" Said James
"No, I mean thank you for saving my life but, I can't! Potter don't you understand? I belong in the black family house hold and your making everything harder for me by making me fall in-" before he could finish that sentence he slapped his hand over his mouth, and ran away leaving his broom with a very confused Barty.
