March 3rrd, 1977
Regulus woke up feeling like the luckiest guy in the world.
He had just been on a date with James and he loved it. James was a perfect human.
Meanwhile in James' dorm he felt the same way. Reggie was a perfect human.
Regulus got out of bed and threw on his uniform. He walked out the dorm and headed to the great hall.
Once he got out of the slytherin common room he heard some yelling just down the hall.
"Hey give it back!" He heard a young boy say.
He turned the corner and saw snape holding a 3rd year hufflepuff books above his head.
"Not a chance. What you gonna cry."said snape.
The hufflepuff had a look of determination on his face. " no but you will" he said whipping out his wand.
Snape drew his wand in an instant too.
That was when regulus decided to step in. "Exprliamus!" Shouted regulus and snapes wand flew out of his hand.
Snape looked in disbelief. "What the hell black!"
Regulus smirked "karmas a bitch ain't it"
Snape huffed as regulus ran over and grabbed the books from his arms.
He handed the books back to the 3rd year and said "off you go now."
The 3rd year just smiled "thank you" he whispered beg running off.
In that whole time regulus and the young boy we're having a conversation snape found his wand again and held it up to regulus' throat.
"I wouldn't move if I were you" said snape poking his wand into regulus' neck.
Regulus just hitched a breath "you wouldn't dare" he snarled
"Oh but I-" he was cut off but someone tackling him to the ground.
Regulus was falling to the floor when someone caught him.
James! He thought smiling. James pulled him up. "Hey little black!" He said making regulus frown again.
"Don't call me that." He said crossing his arms.
"Right sorry Reg" said James smirking
Regulus just rolled his eyes. He looked around and saw that Sirius had been the one to tackle snape and punched him in the face.
Sirius jumped off of the boy "we gotta go!" He yelled running away.
The marauders just laughed but decided that was probably a good idea so they all ran into the great hall.
Everyone looked at them when they walked in and rasied an eyebrow.
Sirius had blood all over him. Regulus had a bruise forming on his neck. James was holding regulus' arm, and Remus had fresh wounds from the night before.
The four of them then realized how bad of an idea that was to go into the great hall so James gave a akward smile and a wave grabbing regulus and pulling him out of the hall.
Remus Sirius and Peter ran after them. "Head for our dorm and be careful! It's about to be our first class so we have to skip, and Fitch will be monorturing the halls, Is everyone alright with that?" Asked James
They all nodded their heads. "Good" said James taking off again.
He was still holding regulus' arm but no one really noticed.
They were almost there when suddenly "meow"
They heard. "Shit." Said James. "Hide!" He said as they split up.
James and regulus found a broom closet a few feet away from them and tumbled inside.
They shut the door and went silent.
They saw Ms. Noris shadow go right by the closet and they both let out a breath.
"That was...intense." Said regulus being squished up against James.
"Yea....hey Reg?" James asked
"Yea?" Asked regulus.
"Now that we're in here why not take advantage of our time." He smirked
"Oh Merlin Potter you don't know how to control yourself do you?" He said as he jumped on James and kissed him.
James automatically responded kissing him back.
They were both just enjoying the feeling of each others lips. It was soft and slow but soon it got more heated.
James was pushed up against the wall still snogging the younger black. "Mmmm I don't think so" James said grabbing regulus and turning him around so there positions were switched. He ran a hand through regulus hair and deepened the kiss.
"We should probably get back to the others" said James between kisses.
Regulus pulled away "Ugh way to ruin the moment Potter" he said with an eye roll.
James smirked "don't worry Reg we will have plenty of time for snogging later" he said as he winked.
Regulus just cracked a smile "hummm don't know if I want to now"
James put a hand over his heart dramatically "Ugh I am WOUNDED"
Regulus laughed as they walked to James' dorm.
They both came in the room laughing and Sirius Peter and Remus were very confused.
"Uhh guys?" Said Sirius breaking their laughter
Suddenly Reg and James went quite as though they had just realized they were laughing.
Sirius rose an eyebrow at this "why were you guys laughing and reg why were YOU laughing , you never do that"
Regulus automatically put on a straight face. "It's nothing" he said as neutral toned as possible.
"Yea nothing" James said trying not to smile.
"Ooookay?" Said Sirius still very confused.
"Alright well since were not going to classes why not do some homework." Suggested regulus
Everyone groaned except Remus. "I agree with regulus guys" he said.
Regulus smiled "alright! Well start with astrology" he said
James was smiling looking at the younger black.
Scene when has my brother smiled?! What is he doing with James? I will get to the bottom of this. Thought Sirius in his head.
