Chapter 5 - SHOPPING!

Alex's POV
Luke had came home 2 weeks ago and me, Julie, and Flynn have been looking for houses. We've found something that I think everyone else would like. Shoot. They better like because if they don't...oh fucking well. 

Me and Willie have been packing up our shit and I think everyone else has too. I mean with Luke's physical therapy and Carlos, the Molina-Patterson family is going through it. Reggie and Flynn have been fine but I heard 'bout they 'lil baby talk. They think they slick but I dare them to pop up with a baby. If they start expecting from me and Willie...fuck outta here. I ain't ready and Willie knows this so they can keep popping babies if they want. I was now sitting in the living room when I decided to facetime Flynn and Julie. The answered on the first ring obviously, who do I look like waiting for somebody. 

"Hey girls." I say.

"Hey lex." They reply. 

"So...I was thinking. Let's go shopping for the house." 

"Sounds good." Flynn says.

"I have to take Luke to physical therapy but tell me what store and I will meet you there." Julie says. 

"Okay."

We all hang up and I get dressed.

"Willie, I am taking the car." I yell.

"Okay." He replies. I go to car and drive to pick up Flynn. 

Julie's POV

"Hey, baby?" I say to Luke.

"Yeah." He replies.

"You okay if I miss this one session? I am going shopping with Flynn and Alex." 

"Yeah okay." 

Luke has been doing a lot better. He can walk on his own, but they still say to bring him in so he can get used to it again because he's still a little shaky. His wound is healing pretty quickly and the therapy helps prevent blood clots and improves his blood flow. (A/N - Yes I did my research.)

Me and Luke get up get  dressed, and while he starts the car up and gets food, I get Carlos dressed. We rode to the hospital and when we get there Luke gets out and starts walking. He walked perfectly this time. 

"Hey look at you!" I yelled from out of the car window.

"Yeah yeah. I've been practicing around the house. I want to be able to actually stand up with my little man again." He says, smiling.

"Practice makes perfect." He made it to the curb so I pulled up Next to him and he leaned his head inside of the window.  "I'll see you later okay?"

"Yeah. Bye, baby." He kisses my lips softly and I pull away.

"Imma go before I get distracted." I say and we both chuckle and he walks inside of the hospital. I pull out my phone and call Flynn.

--On the Call--

"Hey Girly!" Flynn exclaims.

"Hey Boo! Okay what store are you guys at?" I asked.

"Oh...hey Alex what store are we in?" I heard her whisper. I started laughing. "Home Woods?............OHHH. We're at Home Goods."

"Alrightly! I see you guys in a minute."  I say.

"Okay!" They say.

--Off The Call-- 

I drive over to home goods...it was like a 20 minute drive from the hospital. Once I get there I see Willie's car so I park 3 cars down from it. I grab my purse and get Carlos' stroller from out of the trunk. I get Carlos from out of the car and put him in his stroller and put of the plastic cover up. I get my mask out of my purse and put in on and walk inside of the store.
