The door was open and there she was. Lydia was sitting on her bed, it look like she was studying, or reading. Before he spoke, he just watched her for a little bit. How could she look so perfect just sitting there reading a textbook? He smiled, then he thought he should say something. He knocked and said "Hey Lydia" before he continued "I was wondering if... if we could talk". She didn't say anything. She closed her textbook and turned to look at him. His heart skipped a beat every time he saw her face. She was just so beautiful. Thank goodness she couldn't depict his heart beat like some of the others. It would of been such a dead giveaway. Her eyes were a little puffy, and slightly red, her nose was slightly red too. He'd noticed she had been crying, but somehow she was still just as beautiful. "Can I come in and talk?" he asked politely. He was always polite with Lydia, except when he was with Malia of course. "Sure" she said. Even in her voice you could hear she had been crying. He walked over and sat beside her on her bed. "I know it's late, and you're studying.. what-what is that? Is that..chemistry? You're so smart Lydia" She smiled a little, she couldn't help it. She loved it when he complimented her and comforted her, she missed that. "But I really have to talk to you" he continued. Her smile had faded so quickly. She had no idea what he was going to say. "Well where's Malia? Is she really at your house alone? Or is she..waiting in the car outside?" she said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice. Stiles laughed. "Actually that's what I wanted to talk to you about". Lydia looked at him, relief filled her eyes. Could this be the conversation she had hoped? "Malia and I... sort of.. aren't together, anymore" He said as he waited for a response. "Well aren't you supposed to be upset or something? That's normally what happens after a breakup.." Lydia asked with curiosity. "That's the thing Lydia" he began to say. "I'm not upset.. at all actually. This whole time, it didn't feel right. But you know what? It was part of my plan for you. I just got with her to try and make you jealous, to see if it triggered anything inside you to make you realise if you felt anything for me. I don't know if it worked, but this whole time.. I wanted you. Malia was just.. a step in the plan. I just came here to tell you exactly what I'm feeling". Lydia was looking at him so intensely, her eyes began to become watery, she started to tear up.
