"You know, I still care about you Lydia" he said as he looked at her. She was looking down at the floor still trying not to break down and cry in front of him, she just sat there in silence. "I know I've spent a lot of time with Malia lately, and I should of been there for you as a friend...I'm sorry". Still, she didn't say anything. "I - I remember, all those times..." he didn't know how else to put it without making anything too obvious. "I remember when you were stuck in that trap in the woods and I helped you". "You jumped into my arms", Lydia was still looking at the ground. She could hear him, but she didn't say anything. "I remember... when, when you kissed me too". She looked up, and looked at him. "I was having a panic attack, and you kissed me". A slight smile came across her face, she could not believe he even remembered that. He has kissed Malia multiple times, surely he'd forgotten about it. "I still think it was pretty smart" he said smiling at her. She couldn't help but smile too.

"Did you think I'd forget that?" he asked her. "What because I have Malia?" She looked at him in a way that pretty much answered that question. "I've had a crush on you since the third grade.. but it's not a crush anymore", he continued "Because actually Lydia, I'd say it's-". Before he could finish, a pile of rocks fell and blocked the entrance. They both looked at the now blocked entrance, then back to each other. How were they going to get out? "What are we supposed to do now?" Stiles asked in a panicked tone. "Scott and the others might end up finding us, I mean, our pack always finds a way" Lydia said to try and calm Stiles. "What if they don't?" he asked. Lydia didn't want to think of what would happen.

It went back to silence again. "Listen, about before, what I was about to say was that I-" he was about to explain himself when Lydia stopped him. "Stiles, it doesn't matter now anyway, you're with Malia" she said quite upset. She continued "We're probably going to die in here, I mean this is a big place, they might not even find us". They exchanged glances that showed signs of sadness and being worried. "Then would you at least let me say what I've always wanted to say to you?" he asked, hoping she wouldn't mind. "Just don't-" she went to continue on but then he asked "Then could I least kiss you one last time?", "I know it seems wrong because.. Malia but I can't only kiss you once in my life, alright?". Tears started to fill up in her eyes. She wanted to so badly, for a while now. This was her chance, she had to.
