Back Home They Go

Back in Mexico Malia had suspected that something could of possibly happened between Stiles and Lydia, but did nothing about it. She figured she could ask Stiles later, seeing as he would obviously tell her. He's her boyfriend, of course he wouldn't keep anything a secret anymore after the last incident where Stiles didn't tell her about her own father. So she kept quiet in the back seat, occasionally looking back and forth to Stiles and Lydia to see if she could notice anything unusual. Scott would occasionally make a comment, just to not make things too awkward. How they don't have to worry about Kate or Peter for the mean time, or how awesome they are as a pack. Kira would reply to Scott's comments, to somehow gesture to keep the conversation going, and she would smile every-so-often to let him know she was listening. But Lydia, Stiles and Malia sat in total silence, not saying a single word. Unless of course Scott asked any of them a question, they'd respond. But they'd only give a short response like "yeah" or even laugh a little, or show the slightest smile, but it was obvious that it wasn't sincere or realistic.

After what felt like forever they were finally home, back in Beacon Hills. Stiles offered to drive everyone home, considering no other forms of transport were currently available and it was late. Not incredibly late, but late enough to not be alone walking home, although they were supernatural, anything could happen. The first to be dropped home was Lydia. Stiles pulled up out the front of her house. She said her goodbyes, smiled and got out of the car. She quickly glanced at Stiles with a slight smile but the pain in her eyes was so obvious that she was hurt and upset. Malia noticed Stiles looking at Lydia as she walked to her front door, he couldn't take his eyes off her. He stared at her so long Malia had to shout "Stiles!" to grab his attention again. They drove off and headed for Scott's house. Kira was staying with Scott, so it was much easier, he didn't have to drive to 4 different houses.
