It happened in Mexico

The journey begins

They finally arrived in Mexico, considering they were already three quarters of the way home. They all got out of Stiles' jeep and stood around what was not really a circle but rather they just stood around each other. Scott went over the plan once more, and made the suggestion of heading off in pairs. Before anyone could choose a person to head off with, a car pulled up. It was Chris and the Calaveras, and Lydia. Why was Lydia here? It didn't matter anyway considering she was a banshee, she could be very useful. "I was already back in Beacon Hills and happened to see Lydia at the Sheriff's station talking to Deputy Parrish. She saw the Calaveras and I and was wondering what was wrong. So I told her, and she decided to come along. She could probably use her abilities to help us anyway" Chris said to Scott and the pack before any questions were asked. 

Just when things couldn't get any worse who else decided to show up? Peter Hale. How did Peter manage to get all the way to Mexico? Scott was going to ask, but thought he'd probably just reply with something like 'I'm the alpha, I've always been the alpha' or 'I'm a creature of habit'. Although they couldn't trust Peter, at all, they decided to let him come along. Maybe he could be of some help and tell them where Kate might be? After all, he wants power right? He'd probably get it if he killed Kate, or if he got Malia to kill Kate. 

Scott decided he was heading off with Kira and Liam, Stiles looked at Malia and said "You're coming with me, right?". Malia looked over at Peter, then back to Stiles and tried to think of an excuse to not go with Stiles. He would never let her kill Kate, and she had to, because Peter told her to, and he was dangerous, so she didn't want to think of what he might do if she didn't kill her. "I guess I could go with Peter, after all he is my father. Maybe I could do more father-daughter bonding". Stiles did not look too pleased with that idea, he looked at Scott but he assured Stiles that Peter was not going to hurt her, Scott defeated him once, he would gladly do it again. He could. 

Malia insisted Stiles should go with Lydia instead. Lydia couldn't believe she was actually going to spend time with Stiles. He hasn't really said any words to her for ages now, ever since Malia showed up. She didn't care though, she wanted time with him. She missed him, he was her friend. She needed him after losing Allison and Aiden.
