Anna's POV:
I quickly broke the kiss once I heard the growl, and immediately told Kolby.
"Did you hear that?!" I whisper yell as I look around the area to try to find the source but I couldn't see what caused it.
After a long moment, I notice Kolby isn't saying anything instead he looks behind me with an unreadable expression.
Once I looked behind me, I could see who he was staring at. Kolby was looking at a guy that looked roughly my age, with messy chocolate brown hair, stormy brown eyes and seemed very well built-in form.
I had to say he looked hot.
Wait what?!?! I did not just say that! Shaking my head I shake Kolb's shoulder. "Kolby?" I say in a worried voice.
He turned his attention towards me again, "I'm not sure but let's just get inside, ok?" He said quietly while we headed inside after my silent nod.
Sadly we had to separate since our locke in different hallways. Once he kissed my forehead and told me he'd meet me in class, I walked over towards my locker and unlocker. Once I grabbed my books and threw them in my bag, I shut the door of my locker and nearly jumped a foot in the air. That guy Kolby was staring at was literary leaning beside someone else locker.
"Oh my god, you scared the crap out of me," I said as I steady my breathing and heartbeat down.
Once I looked up into his eyes I was soon lost in them, his eyes held truth, love, and power but he soon cleared his throat as he looked away scratching his neck.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare ya. My friend Ben said I should go say hi" he said sheepishly. Understanding I held my hand out, "Oh well, in that case, I'm Anna, Anna Blue." He smiled as he told me his name was Derek River, While he complimented me our hands connected and I felt sparks shoot up into my hand and up into my arm. WAIT SPARKS?!
I took my hand back as soon as I felt that, "What the hell?!" I shriek. He looked confused and only asked one question... "Did you feel that?" He asked in a way that made me think that I shouldn't have it... "Uhh yeah, I did" As I said this I saw his eyebrows pull together like he was angry? ...
"I'm sorry...I gtg..." he said as he walked off further into the hallway.
What the hell just happened?! He just walked off like nothing happened... why did it look as if he knew what happened...
Pissed I sling my bag on my back and headed off to math class.
