She grew up in a normal human world, but once a new student comes to school everything she ever knew were lies. What will happen when the lies are out and she finds out who she and the people around her really are?
I told the boys to meet me at coles, so I'm now in my land cruiser driving through town, and just as I'm around the corner of the shop, the blasted traffic lights have to turn red.
I sighed quietly as I stopped my car. As I was waiting for the lights to turn green, that Derek guy popped into my head.
What secrets is he keeping? I know some things up but what?
Thankfully the lights turned green so I turned the corner and parked beside their ute.
I met the boys in front of their ute, "ok boys, so because of this covid 19, only one of us will be going in at a time. So ill go in first and in 2 minutes you Ben, will come in and get supplies, and then max will come in another 2 minutes. Ok?" the boys looked at each other for a split second before agreeing.
i tapped the door of the ute before i entered the shop and went straight for the junk food isle.

i grabbed a basket full of chips, and another basket full of energy drinks, as covid is around we can only grab a few items at a time.
I paid for my items and went out to the boys. "Ok so i got chips and drinks so ben, grab some more chips and red cups and plates." I said as I dumped my bags in the back of my landcruiser.
Ben walked in the the shop, so I jumped on my bonnet and so did Max, "how have you been Anna?" Max asked as he laid on my bonnet beside me. "Yea I'm been OK, Max can I tell you something, and because besides stormy your one of my closet friends, you can't tell anyone." I said quiet but strongly, looking at the forest.
"Sure Anna, you can tell me anything, whats wrong" Max sat up as he said this. "Well this morning when kolby came back from his morning run, he..." the conversation was cut short when Ben came out of the shop. "I have returned" Ben exclaimed.
I hopped down from my ute, "ok Max head inside and get some more supplies and then we'll go to the RSL and buy some alcohol. With Max inside I put Ben's bags in the ute and shorty Max comes out and dump his supplies in the ute aswell. "Rightyo boys let's get going" I say as we jump into the landcruiser and headed to the RSL.
The boys and I park outside the RSL and walk inside to the quiet bar. "Hey Anna what can I get you guys?" The bartender Sky asked. "Hey girl we need say 4 cartons of iron Jack, 4 cartons of Jack Daniels and a large bucket of shots" I told her say I put my credit card out to pay but Max bet me to it. "Nope I'm paying" he told me. I rolled my eyes as I know I cant ever win that fight. "Can I see your ids please, just so if anyone asks, they'll know I didn't just give a heap of alcohol to a bunch of teens." Sky and myself laughed and the boys showed her their ids.
"So you guys throwing a party?" She asked as the boys put the alcohol in the ute. "Yea as it a Friday were throwing a bomb fire party, it starts at 7pm if you wanna join. I promise it's gonna be fun, oh and bring your bathers to. It by the lake just outside of town" I inform her as I blow her a kiss and head outside to my ute.
"You sure there's enough alcohol?" Ben asks as he leans against the passenger door. "I rolled my eyes well if it's not then they can always bring there own alcohol" I say lightly. Max watches me for a moment before hopping into the ute, and so do me and ben.
In silence we drive to the lake and to find a perfect location for the bomb fire. "Here is perfect" I say as we park and hop out. Getting the banners and tables out from my ute with I had ready for tonight. The boys hope out and helped me to set everything up.
In an hour everything was ready for the party, the fire was ready to be set up the alcohol was set up on tables and the daylight was running away. "Good job Anna Banana the place looks good" Max laughs as he hugs me. I nudge him in the ribs and laugh "you know I hate that nickname" we laugh together and ben joins in, "Well it suits you" around 6pm we hopped into the ute and heading home, I dropped the boys of home and then went home to get ready myself.
