14) Find her!

Derek's pov *
I watched her ride off, just like that. Why did I just let her go after all this? We need to follow her, I don't like being away from her. Hunter whinnied as the sound of her bike disappears.
I know hunter but she needs time, she's new to all this and she needs to work it out with kolby. I tell him maybe but she's ours and I don't like him near her. Me neither.

Grabbing the clothes Anna had one I put them into the back of my ute and shut the door. I was about to hop into the vehicle when I heard a voice in my head. Max ML Derek, Hey Derek, we have a problem. Those rouges are back, and there heading to Anna's place.

Thats all it took before I jumped into my ute and stepped on the accelerator out of the forest and onto the highway. It was only 3 and a half minutes before I smelt them, the awful smell of rotten burned flesh. I parked my ute around a dirt track and hopped out shifting as soon as I was in the forest. What are they after? And why are they heading towards Anna's place?! Focus Derek they can't get near our mate hunter growled. I took a deep breath and ran as fast as I could before I caught sight of a rouge wolf. Before he had a chance to turn around I jumped onto his back and ripped open his neck.

It wasn't long before Max and ben caught up to me, Derek ML Max and Ben, ok let's finish them. With that we soon catch up to the other two rogues we had nearly finished killing the last one, that's when I heard her. Her screams.

Pushing as hard as I could to get to her, the closer I got the louder the screams. Then it went silent. The smell of blood got stronger. I had seen her house threw the trees but I couldnt go any further I stopped. Is she... no Derek she's not she's still alive hunter tells me I take a deep breath before finally moving to her home, I shifted into my human form."here derek" Ben came over to me and gave me a pair of shorts. I quickly put them on before I entered her home.

The smell of her blood was mixed with kolby's blood. Good he's bleeding too hunter snickered in my head. We moved to the kitchen where the blood just got stronger and stronger, "Derek come look here" Max yelled from the other room, moving my eyes from the blood I walked into the other room and what I had seen shocked me to my core.

Kolby was sitting in a lounge chair, with a butcher knife threw his chest, dead. "She's not upstairs or anywhere in the house" Ben said coming down the stairs.

I feel my body shake violently as hunter tries to take over. Derek let me take over now! I can feel her she's close and she's bleeding badly we need to find her now! Hunter growls in my head. "Find her" I growl as I let Hunter take over.

I feel him taking over and I'm looking through his eyes. He runs outside and quickly picks up her scent, we follow it to her ute which is still running. Shit she was just here  Hunter tells me find her I order Hunter.

" ahhh!" There's a scream coming from the forest about 50m in. ANNA! Quickly we shift and follow her scent into the forest, shit do you smell that?! I ask Hunter yes. Rogues about 5 of them. It's not long before we find them, by a small stream, Anna is being dragged further into the forest covered in blood. A vicious growl rips through our throat, we charged at them ben and Max by our side, I charge after the mut that dares touch out mate, ripping his hand off our mate, noticing Anna is unconscious but still alive.

"Leave now Derek, she's our now piss off" the rouge grows as he points to Anna. Hunter stops for a split second. How does he know our name?! Hunter growls, I don't fucking know kill him. And with that Hunter jumps forward ripping off his left arm, then the right. "Wait! You don't know her, you don't know who or what she is. She's more powerful than anyone could ever know. And they will come after her-" he didn't finish what he was about to say before he was chocking on his own blood and soon died.

We just watched him, what the fuck?! What was all that who is after her?! Hunter growled in confusion mirroring my thoughts.

"Derek come on, she needs to be seen to by a doctor now" Max tells me as Hunter let's me take over my body. I shift back, ben gave me a pair of shorts from his bag I put them on and move over to Anna's limp body. Her breathing is shallow but still there, I carefully pick her up in my arms, she's bleeding badly and not healing, why?!

I take her body out of the forest and head to her vehicle, " Max drive now, ben get my ute and take it back to the pack house, now" I order as I get in the back and rested Anna and my lap so I could hold her body close, that way she won't get hurt any more.

Max quickly got into the driver's seat and sped off towards the highway. "Come on Anna, please wake up" I whispered in her ear, nothing...she's just layed there in my arms lifeless. "Hurry up!" I yelled at Max as we hit the exit towards my pack. It's not long before we're outside the pack hospital, holding tight to Anna, I jump out of the vehicle and rushed her into the hospital. "We need a doctor, now!" I growl as a nurse brings out a bed for Anna, I gently lay her onto the bed. "Alpha I'm sorry but she's in a bad way and we need to concentrate on her, im sorry" the nurse says as she takes my mate away from me. I watch as she strolls my mate all the way down that long hallway.
